1. I was glad when they said to me
Let us go into the house of the LORD.
Our feet shall stand within thy gates,
Within thy gates Yerushalayim.

בֵּית יְהוָה נֵלֵךְ
עֹמְדוֹת הָיוּ רַגְלֵינוּ בִּשְׁעָרַיִךְְ
בִּשְׁעָרַיִךְ יְרוּשָׁלִָם
Refrain:
Pray for Yerushalayim,
Peace to her Shalom within thy walls.
For all my brethren and companions’ sake
I will now sing peace to you again.

:פִּזמוֹן
הִתפַּלְּלוּ בְּעַד־יְרוּשָׁלִָם
יְהִי־שָׁלוֹם לָהּ שָׁלוֹם בְּחֵילֵךְ
לְמַעַן כָּל־אַחַי וְרֵעָי
אָשִׁירָה־נָּא עוֹד שָׁלוֹם לֵךְ
לְמַעַן כָּל־אַחַי וְרֵעָי
אָשִׁירָה־נָּא עוֹד שָׁלוֹם לֵךְ
2. Yerushalayim is built upon a mount,
A city that is compact together.
When the tribes go up to thank the LORD,
It is because the Son of David reigns.
2. יְרוּשָׁלִַם הַבְּנוּיָה עַל־הָר
כְּעִיר שֶׁחֻבְּרָה־לָּהּ יַחְדָּו
בְּעָלוּ שְׁבָטִים לְהוֹדוֹת לַיהוָה
כִּי מָלַךְ בֶּן־דָּוִד
God be merciful unto us, and bless us; and cause his face to shine upon us;
God be merciful unto us,
That thy way may be known upon earth, thy saving health among all nations.
Let the people praise thee, O God; let all the people praise thee.
אֱלֹהִים יְחָנֵּנוּ וִיבָרְכֵנוּ יָאֵר פָּנָיו אִתָּנוּ׃

לָדַעַת בָּאָרֶץ דַּרְכֶּךָ בְּכָל־גּוֹיִם יְשׁוּעָתֶךָ׃
יוֹדוּךָ עַמִּים אֱלֹהִים יוֹדוּךָ עַמּים כֻּלָּם׃
