Mendeley MS Word plugin not appearing

How to resolve Mendeley MS Word plugin “not appearing” in MS Word

Open MS Word

File -> Options -> Add-ins

Manage -> (Choose Word Add-ins from drop down list) -> Go

Note:

In case the Mendeley-1.19.8.dotm is not displayed while you select Add-ins

Choose the drive & folder where Mendeley Desktop is installed, Say,

Click on Add, Go to the installation folder of Mendeley Desktop

C:\Program Files (x86)\Mendeley Desktop\wordPlugin

Select the file Mendeley-1.19.8.dotm

Within the MS Word, the “Mendeley Cite-o-Matic” would be added under the References Menu bar.

If it prompts a security warning macro, click on “Enable Content”.

This will add the Mendeley Cite-o-Matic in the Word 2019 Toolbar, under References Menu

This completes the MS Word plug-in option installation.
