GSLIS hosted its second annual Graduate Student Research Conference on Thursday, December 4, 2025. Over 75 graduate students, faculty, alumni, and friends of GSLIS attended and participated.
Graduate students Noa Danesh, Emily Henry, Helena Henry, Mia Karnofsky, and Stephen Tumino presented their research papers (view abstracts here) while Gawain Mosher and Danielle Schussel shared research posters , respectively (view abstracts here). Two faculty members, Caitline Waldron and Regina Carra, hosted the career archive panel and shared archive career tips. A key part of the event is the much awaited job fair. Career recruiters and organizations from different parts of New York City met with graduate students and alumni. Despite the chilly temperatures outside, the energy inside Rosenthal Library was warm and enthusiastic! Lots of networking, discussions, and first times meeting each other in-real life!
Special thanks to Associate Professor Vikki Terrile, GSLIS Director of Student Affairs Brandon Jeffries, GSLIS Graduate Advisor for Careers Kim McNeil Capers, and many others for making this event a tremendous success!
