The Graduate School of Library and Information Studies at Queens College, City University of New York, is pleased to announce that in 2025 / 2026 we will be hosting Visiting Professor, Dr. Yang Jing, Associate Professor in the Archives Department of the College of Public Administration, Yancheng Teachers University, China.
Dr. Yang holds a BA in History from Yancheng, a Master of Management in Archives from An Hui University, and a PhD in Archival Science from Renmin University. Her research interests center on archival access, and while she is in New York she will be conducting research on the topic with Dr. James Lowry and Dr. Ping Li.
Through the generous support of the Kosciuszko Foundation, the Graduate School of Library and Information Studies at Queens College, City University of New York, will be hosting visiting professor Dr. Magdalena Wiśniewska-Drewniak in the Spring 2024 term.
During her stay in New York, Dr. Wiśniewska-Drewniak will be researching Polish diasporic archives, questions related to community archives in archival education, and she will be working on an edited anthology, Archival Pedagogies, with GSLIS Chair Dr. James Lowry, Dr. Tshepho Mosweu of the University of Botswana, and Dr. Pimphot Seelekate of Chulalongkorn University, Thailand.
