Queens Memory, the community archiving program jointly sponsored by Queens Public Library and Queens College, recently published The Memory Keeper’s Guide to Home Movies. It’s the latest brochure in a series intended to educate the public about personal archiving issues. This publication was created by GSLIS Prof. Robin Margolis and built on previous work in the series by students in Prof. James Lowry’s Fall 2022 Digital Preservation class: Claudia Acosta, Josselyn Atahualpa, Sarah Barlow-Ochshorn, Paulette Bellins and David Kambhu. The brochure can be freely downloaded from the Queens Memory website and will also be distributed in print form at related Queens Memory programs.
