In collaboration with SAA@QC (the QC Chapter of the Society of American Archivists), GSLIS hosted a workshop on Wednesday November 14th led by archivists from METRO, the New York Academy of Medicine, LaGuardia Community College, Barnard College, and the New-York Historical Society on the software framework Islandora <https://islandora.ca/> in use as a digital repository and CMS.

The workshop covered topics such as selection and use of repository platforms, metadata, digital preservation, open source tools, use cases, and problem scenarios.
