La figura de Leonardo da Vinci cumplido el 500 aniversario de su fallecimiento, será el hilo conductor de nuestro proyecto. Como dicen sus biógrafos, el mayor representante del espíritu del Renacimiento, por sus innumerables las aportaciones al mundo del arte, la ingeniería, el urbanismo, la anatomía humana, la Ciencia.
Gran parte de estas áreas están relacionadas con nuestro currículum, que desarrollaremos transversalmente en nuestro proyecto, implicando a los distintos Departamentos Didácticos, con el objetivo de analizar su obra y sus aplicaciones en el siglo XXI. Se trata de una propuesta educativa innovadora al permitir a los estudiantes y profesores europeos integrar a un genio, como es Leonardo da Vinci, en el proceso de enseñanza y aprendizaje. En muchas ocasiones la Ciencia y el Arte caminan de la mano y no somos capaces de interrelacionar los beneficios de ambas disciplinas. Por ello, el desarrollo del proyecto persigue los siguientes objetivos:
˗ Estimular la creatividad de los jóvenes europeos en temas de Arte y Ciencia, inspirados en el ejemplo de Leonardo da Vinci, animándolos a utilizar y desarrollar su creatividad y habilidades analíticas y artísticas, encaminándolos hacia propuestas que posibiliten el desarrollo de ciudades más accesibles y sostenibles.
˗ Fomentar la interdisciplinariedad permitiendo la construcción de un pensamiento lógico necesario para lograr el equilibrio de las habilidades sociales y científicas.
La motivación del proyecto es apoyar el desarrollo, la transferencia y la implementación de prácticas innovadoras, así como la ejecución de iniciativas conjuntas para el fomento de la cooperación, el aprendizaje entre iguales y el intercambio de experiencias a escala europea. Se llevará a cabo entre España, Bulgaria, Italia y Polonia, fomentando la interculturalidad, la interdisciplinariedad y el uso de las lenguas y las tecnologías de la información y comunicación, transmitiendo a nuestros alumnos valores como la igualdad, la inclusión, el compañerismo, la coeducación, facilitando la capacidad de conectar e implicar a los jóvenes, en trabajos que refuercen cooperaciones y sinergias, teniendo en cuenta, la identidad europea subyacente que realza el pensamiento crítico y la alfabetización mediática.
De la misma manera, el proyecto busca promover el uso y la implementación del portfolio europeo de las lenguas y del portfolio de competencia digital docente, que se irá completando a lo largo del proyecto.
El uso de las Tecnologías de la Información y Comunicación (TIC) será necesario con el fin de potenciar sus habilidades para obtener, procesar y comunicar la información: la utilización de ordenadores, programas multimedia y medios audiovisuales a su alcance, para su aplicación en el eTwinning facilitando la capacidad de aprender de forma autónoma y ser capaces de comunicar sus aprendizajes y experiencias, realizando aportaciones útiles a la sociedad de su tiempo. Hay que insistir en la necesidad de fomentar el trabajo cooperativo en grupos mixtos así como el papel de las mujeres en las diferentes áreas del conocimiento, promoviendo el interés del alumnado, especialmente el de las chicas, por la tecnología, las ingenierías y las matemáticas.
Desde un enfoque interdisciplinar y globalizador pensamos que con este proyecto podemos desarrollar el currículo de una forma más motivadora y enriquecedora, atendiendo a la diversidad de nuestro alumnado y a las necesidades de nuestro entorno, mejorando el conocimiento de nuestra historia y nuestro patrimonio y, consecuentemente, recuperando nuestra identidad cultural de una Europa unida. Labor que pretendemos realizar siguiendo estos apartados:
1. Trabajo de los profesores de los Departamentos Didácticos que participen en el proyecto y su alumnado, para recopilar, seleccionar y clasificar la máxima información posible sobre los diferentes aspectos de la vida, época, obra y tratados de Leonardo da Vinci, utilizando bibliografía, artículos, internet, obras de arte, etc. Reparto de tareas por grupos heterogéneos.
2. Análisis y estudio de algunas de sus obras, mediante la reproducción de maquetas, dibujos, paneles explicativos e informativos, concurso de fotografía y de relatos en español de manera conjunta, siendo el eje del trabajo la figura de Leonardo y el juego interactivo sobre su figura.
3. Relación de la figura, la obra y la época de Leonardo con el s.XXI, mediante la realización de diversas actividades programadas y coordinadas por los socios del proyecto, publicadas en el TwinSpace, herramienta fundamental de trabajo y de comunicación entre las partes implicadas.
4. Difusión del proyecto mediante exposiciones de los trabajos abiertas a toda la Comunidad Educativa, centros de la localidad, además de los colegios adscritos y los organismos y entidades que lo deseen y su difusión en las redes sociales, prensa y televisión, así como en la Revista Digital que tenemos prevista publicar al mismo tiempo que se desarrolle el programa.

The figure of Leonardo da Vinci, on the 500th anniversary after his death, will be the common theme of our project. As stated by his biographers, he was the greatest representative of Renaissance thinking, for his innumerable contributions to the fields of art, engineering, urban planning, human anatomy, science.
Most of these fields are the basis of our educational curriculum, which we will develop across our curricular Project together with the teaching departments aiming to analyze his work as well as his applications in the 21st century. Certainly, this is an innovative educational proposal since it enables European students and teachers to integrate a genius such as Leonardo da Vinci within the teaching and learning process.
Many times, Science and Art come together but we do not interrelate the benefits of both fields as we should. That is why the development of this project can lead us to the accomplishment of the following objectives:
- Stimulate European students’ creativity in the fields of Art and Science, following the life and work of Leonardo da Vinci. At the same time, encourage them to use and develop their artistic and analytical skills, guiding them towards proposals that enable the development of more accessible and sustainable cities.
- Foster interdisciplinarity to enable logical thinking, which is necessary to acquire a good balance between social and scientific skills.
Our motivation for this project is to support the development, transfer, and implementation of innovative experiences, as well as to integrate initiatives that foster cooperation, peer learning and educational exchanges among European countries. The project will be carried out by Spain, Bulgari, Italy and Poland, promoting interculturality, interdisciplinarity and the use of languages and new technologies as a means of communication. Providing our students values such as equality, diversity, fellowship and co-education. We also aim to facilitate our students being connected and involved in tasks that reinforce cooperation and synergy, always bearing in mind the underlying European values, which highlight critical thinking as well as media and information literacy.
In the same way, the project seeks the use and implementation of the “European Portfolio of Languages” as well as the “Portfolio for Teaching Digital Competence”, which participants will be filling in along the duration of the project.
The use of “Information and Communication Technologies” will be required in order to boost their abilities to retrieve,process and communicate information: use of computers, multimedia applications, and other audiovisual means at reach. Applying these abilities in the eTwinning platform, allowing self-learning and being able to communicate their learning and experiences, making useful contributions to modern society. We must insist in the need of working in gender diverse groups, highlighting the role of women in the different knowledge areas and promoting the interest of students, especially females, in science, technology, engineering and mathematics.
We believe that focusing our project from an interdisciplinary and global approach, we can develop the educational curriculum in a highly motivating and enriching way, respecting the diversity of the participants and the needs of our environment. We can also improve the knowledge of our history and heritage and consequently, recovering our cultural identity of a united Europe. We pretend to achieve this goal by following these stages:
1. The Teaching Departments will collect, select and classify as much information as possible about the different aspects of Leonardo da Vinci’s biography, period, works and studies from bibliography, scientific papers, paintings, etc. We divide tasks by heterogeneous groups.
2. Analysis and study of some of his works, by using altogether mockups, drawings, posters, photography contest and essays in Spanish, focusing on Leonardo da Vinci’s character and interactive playing.
3. Relationship of the personality, work and period of Leonardo with the XXI century, by carrying out various activities programmed and coordinated by the project partners, published in the TwinSpace, a fundamental tool for the work and communication between the parties involved.
4. Spreading of the project by means of exhibitions of all the students’ projects, which will be shown to the entire Educational Community, local communities, in addition to the affiliated schools and the organizations and entities willing to participate. Moreover, dissemination on social networks, press and television, as well as on a homegrown Digital Magazine we plan to publish along the development of this program.
