This cool treat is a must-try this summer! Making ice cream in a bag is fun, easy, and quick! This activity teaches your kids about chemical reactions and how ice cream is created. Parents/guardians are welcome to assist younger children. This session promotes critical thinking and scientific analysis.
Materials: 1 large ziploc bag, 1 small ziploc bag, 1 cup half and half, 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract, 2 tablespoons sugar, enough ice to fill 1/2 a large ziploc bag, 1/3 cup salt
