Origami is a great way to create beautiful projects only using paper! In this session, students will be learning how to make an origami dog and flower and will work on using their imagination to create artwork. Origami encourages creativity, patience, and thinking skills.

Scratch is a free programming language that is easy for kids to use! In this activity, students will be able to learn the process of coding in a simple and exciting way. Through Scratch, kids are able to begin to work on the skills needed to code more complex projects. This session promotes memory, processing skills, and problem-solving.

Improv is one of the most effective ways to step outside your comfort zone! In this fun-filled class of improv games, your child will learn tips and tricks on this type of acting and get better at thinking quick on their feet! This session promotes quick-thinking and creativity.

Astronomy is such a diverse and interesting field of science! In this class focused on constellations, kids will learn about the incredible stars that surround them and even be able to design their own constellation! This session promotes creativity and attention to detail.

Dancing is a beautiful way to tell a story through movement and hip hop provides an outlet for energy and artistic expression. In this session, kids will get active learning how to nail hip hop. This session promotes memory and creativity.
Materials: A large, open space and comfortable clothes
This experiment is a fun way to learn more about chemical reactions and the properties of different chemicals. Guided through the experiment step by step, your child will expand their scientific knowledge in a fun, household-friendly way. This session promotes critical thinking and scientific analysis. We highly encourage parent/guardian supervision for safety purposes.
Materials: 1 plastic cup, water, 3-4 tbs of baking soda, 1 tsp of dish soap, 1 cup of vinegar (optional: paint)

In this fun and educational session, your child will learn about parts of speech such as nouns, pronouns, adjectives, adverbs, and more while filling out Mad Lib stories. Mad Libs is a phrasal template word game where one prompts others for a list of words to substitute for blanks in a story before reading aloud. This session promotes creativity.

During this lesson, your child will learn about the scientific method and perform an experiment. They will blow a balloon using vinegar and baking soda with step-by-step instruction from our mentors! This session promotes critical thinking and scientific analysis. We highly encourage parent/guardian supervision for safety purposes.

Kahoot is a great way to refresh your child's memory in a fun, exciting game! This session is a cool way for your child to test their knowledge on their favorite shows! Make sure you are able to go on kahoot.it while staying on our Zoom (this can be done through having multiple windows open on your computer or using separate devices!)

Reading serves as a productive past time and expands vocabulary and knowledge! Led by the founders of Project Teens Teach, kids will be able to listen and discuss a book from the hit series The Magic Tree House. This activity is great for kids to relax and have fun as well as follow along to the adventures of two siblings, Jack and Annie, and their adventures through history!
