In my experience, while doing this activity, I learned how important the conducting of assessment is to the learners. For it will determine the strength and weaknesses of the learners and the teacher. As our group is lucky to interview Ma'am Mercyditha B. Fernandez Teacher III of Daniel Maramba National High School, for she addressed that reporting and giving feedback to the student's learning sometimes becomes crucial. When the outcomes are reported to the parents, they might ask a variety of questions that we teachers are required to answer by presenting the class records or data of their child and to justify ourselves explaining while being calm. It is a way to become transparent to the parents to be aware of the academic performance of their child. -Emmanuel B. Idos
In this activity we have one day to finish it because we are late in submitting the activities because we are always delayed in observing so activity 4 and activity 5 are the same class observation, then we need to interview a teacher in this activity so I had a hard time finishing it in just one day but with the help of my groupmates in providing information about the questions in our teacher who interview, I finished and passed on time. -Ciara C. Lopez
This activity reminded us all that one of the most important things in teaching and should be given a priority is the students' attainment of the different learning outcomes. To meet these outcomes, a teacher must align activities or assessments to it. In connection to this, we must also know how to communicate feedback properly. We conducted an interview in this activity and I had so much fun having conversations with our interviewees for I was able to know how they compute grades and how they report it to students' parents. -John Michael S. Medrano
Ma'am Agnes sent the file for activity 5, and when I opened it, I read all of the questions, and when I noticed that we were going to interview a depEd teacher, I felt a little nervous, but also a little excited. Then, when we begin the interview with group 8, we create a list of questions to ask Ma'am Vince Cruz, and I enjoyed it because I learned something new not only about how to compute grades, but also about how to inspire and know your students' capabilities. And I learned that a teacher must know her or his students and be constantly monitoring them in order to motivate them and to tell them that grades are not important in order to be considered a successful person. However, grades should never be used to define who you are in the future. -Mark Anthony S. Mejia
In this exercise, I WAITED PATIENTLY for the instructor I was going to interview to respond because he was still at school and doing something. Furthermore, conducting this exercise taught me a lot and provided me with new views and knowledge that I can apply in the future. -Jenelyn B. Mendoza
In this activity, I also have a hard time to answering some questions and some of it are not. Also, we asked the opinion of the teacher that we interview, so that we have idea to answer those questions. If I am having a hard to understand the questions, I always ask my group mates to help me to understand. Because of that, I successfully finished my activity. In every, activity I learn something new. -Rose Ane U. Moles
The questions in worksheet 5 are quite similar to worksheet 3 which is almost based on your observation of the teacher and because this worksheet is similar and I was able to take note that I answered the questions. -Kim Ashley F. Parica
In my experience on this activity there is a time that I’m having a hard time some questions specially on the observation. My data is not enough because that is what I observed and so I ended up asking my group mates if there is more data that they take note. In terms of interviewing which is part of this activity, I manage to answer all the questions easily because that time I had a lot of data. -Bejie S. Payopay
This worksheet focuses on the Domain 5 which is about the Assessment, to observe the assigned classroom discussion and by conducting a teacher interview about how they compute learners grade and how they report it to the parents. My experienced on this activity is not difficult, I’ve enjoyed answering it and finished it on time. -Marvin D. Pelenio
In my experienced in answering this activity, I learned that assessment is an inevitable part of the teaching learning processes. It determines the effectiveness of the curriculum at the same time it assesses/evaluates the learner’s performance. I am lucky to interviewed Mrs. Mercyditha B. Fernandez, a Teacher III in Daniel Maramba National High School to give her insights regarding on how they compute learners’ grades and what criteria do they consider, also ask how are the grades or performance reported to parents. All the knowledge that she imparted and the situations that she shared will served as an inspiration and motivation to become an effective educator someday. -Donna Bell B. Peralta
From this activity I have experience in interviewing one of my DepEd Teacher friend from Malasiqui National High School and I ask him on how they compute learners’ grades and what criteria do they consider and I learned on him the process that he use to give grades and the criteria on how he give an assessment to his students, I also ask him on how are the grades or performance reported to parents and what why he could tell to his students parents about the result and at this activity I’ve answered all of the question well. -Joshua Elejiah A.
