My experience during this activity is great for the knowledge I get from our first observation wherein it focuses on the Teachers’ knowledge of content and pedagogy. I learn about the importance of mastering the knowledge content of every lesson that we discuss or impart to the students. During the observation, I noticed how good the discussion that I had observed but I had a struggle answering some questions in my activity due mastery of the resource teacher is about the topic she is discussing. It was a good class to it does not transpire during the class observation. So, to fulfill that, I and my groupmates approached the resource teacher to ask her help on how are we going to answer the following questions which are not had been observed. - Emmanuel B. Idos
This is the first activity that I will answered so my brain is not very ready to answer the questions especially those that we observe that the class does not participate that much so I had a hard time answering this activity 1, So I can ‘t answers the ones I don't understand to do. - Ciara C. This Activity focuses on the knowledge of the teacher on content and pedagogy which is a very important thing to consider in order to make the ideas flow smoothly during the discussion. During the observation, we were able to see different strategies of the teacher and how it affects the learning of the students. Upon answering the activities, I was able to reflect on the different learning principles. I really enjoyed answering the worksheet using the data that I have observed during the observation and by thinking critically to answer the Analysis and the Reflect parts. - John Michael S. Medrano
After our observation, I didn't begin to answer the activity 1- Teacher's Knowledge Content and Pedagogy. I started it the next day, which is why I ran into a problem with initiative. When you realize you don't have any ideas in your head, don't force yourself to think. Instead, try to relax, and if you feel fine, you should start doing it. Without our initiative, the activity will remain pending; it will lead us to trouble. We must resist all forms of procrastination and complete the task at hand. In some parts of the activity, I also sought assistance from my peers. Noises in my environment have also caused me to be unable to think clearly. However, I answered all of the questions clearly and thoroughly, with excellent comprehension and analysis. - Mark Anthony S. Mejia
This activity triggered ecstatic thoughts within me. I realized how important it is for instructors to have a strong grasp of content knowledge as well as effective pedagogy. Looking back over the previous year, I can apply and recollect each learning concept to the section of the lesson where the teacher uses them. - Jenelyn B. Mendoza
In the first activity, I had a hard time to answering those questions because I’m still adjusting, new for this activity and at the same learning about this subject. And I’m seeking a help or asking my member on what will do in this part. Thankfully, I successfully answered my activity. - Rose Ann U. Moles
I actually had a hard time answering worksheet 1. One of the reasons was that this was our first activity which was a bit new. And I forgot that part of the lesson. But because I jot down what I observed, I identified the strategies used by the teacher, so I was still able to answer the questions. - Kim Ashley F. Parica
Since this is the first activity for field study, I found myself struggling on answering the questions. There are some questions that is familiar to me but most of them are not so I keep browsing on internet and asking my group mates. However, I manage to answer all the questions and pass it to our leader. - Bejie S. Payopay
The worksheet 1 is more about in the principles of learning, the methods of inductive and deductive teaching and it focuses in Domain 1. My experiences of this first activity are I answered all the questions by analyzing and understanding every situations. Also I studied more about the principles of teaching that’s why I’ve been finished and answered all the questions very well. - Marvin D. Pelenio
In my experienced in answering this activity, I learned that if we focus on the pedagogical content knowledge it will recognizes the importance of teachers’ mastery of content knowledge and its interconnectedness within and across curriculum areas, coupled with a sound and critical understanding of the application of theories and principles of teaching and learning. I realized that all of the principles of learning is very important and has huge part in a learning process but the most important that I will apply when I become a teacher is aside of being shifting the roles in lecturer to a facilitator, I want have a teacher's ability to establish a connection between the classroom content and real life. - Donna Bell B. Peralta
From my experiences in this activity it is very enjoyable but I have been struggling in some reason with the questions given in our activity 1 especially with the Observation report in the table that we should complete and indicate opposite each learning principle the part of the lesson where it/they are employed/utilized, but I’ve answered all of the questions in the given activity. - Joshua Elejiah A.
