LUCEY, Hannah "Joan"

Hannah or "Joan" (1899-1981), as she was always known, never married. She lived at Sundays Well in Cork city and worked in the city for many years before retiring to live with her sister, Kit, at Gurranleigh, after the death of Kit's husband, "Paddy" O'Sullivan. Joan died on 27 April 1981 and was buried at Macroom with her sister and brother-in-law.
