What is Developmental Disabilities Resource Board of St. Charles County (DDRB)?

The DDRB is a leader, ensuring that individuals with developmental disabilities living in St. Charles County have quality opportunities and choices to be fully included in society.

They provide targeted case management for eligible individuals ages 16 and up, and fund a selection of services in St. Charles County.

Accessing Targeted Case Management

1 • Application Process

2 • Disability Eligibility

  1. To be determined eligible by disability you must have a developmental disability attributed to:

      • Intellectual disability

      • Cerebral palsy

      • Epilepsy

      • Head injury

      • Autism

      • Learning disability related to a brain dysfunction

      • Any other mental or physical impairment which occurs before age 22 expected to continue indefinitely.

  2. Must have a lifelong extended duration.

  3. Must show substantial functional limitations in 2 or more major life activities:

      • Self-care

      • Language development--receptive and expressive

      • Learning

      • Self-direction

      • Capacity for independent living or economic self-sufficiency

      • Mobility

3 • Once Eligible

The DDRB provides Case Management to individuals 18 and over with active Medicaid and individuals 16 & 17 regardless of Medicaid Status.
