What is Developmental Disability Advocates (DDA)?

Developmental Disability Advocates provide resources to create opportunities for individuals with developmental disabilities in Jefferson County to live full and enriched lives. 

They provide targeted case management for individuals aged 3 and up, and fund a selection of services in Jefferson County.

2 • Eligibility

They will meet with any individual with a developmental disability, age 3+, that lives in Jefferson County.

Eligible disabilities include:  intellectual disability, cerebral palsy, head injury, autism, epilepsy and certain learning disabilities.

3 • Once Eligible

Upon meeting, a service coordinator will conduct an assessment of what services could benefit the individual with disabilities and develop a plan with the individual and their primary caretaker.
