The mission of BJC Behavioral Health is to improve the mental health and well-being of the people and communities we serve who are impacted by mental illness. We deliver services that are primarily community-based and coordinate them with a variety of agencies and resources in the community.

CenterPointe Hospital is a premier provider of behavioral health care services in St. Louis, delivered with compassion for patients and their families, respect for employees, physicians and other professionals, accountability for clinical and ethical performance and responsibility to the communities we serve.

Comtrea provides a variety of programs and services to individuals in assisting them to understand their condition, as well as, to support the Jefferson County community in behavioral health disorders.

Jefferson County Community  Mental Health Fund (JCCMHF) contracts with COMTREA to ensure systems of care are available for all Jefferson County individuals. JCCMHF was established and authorized by the County Council in Jefferson County and state statutes to receive and administer a mental illness property tax levy and a Community Children's Services sales tax within the county.

Mercy's Hyland Behavioral Health Center provides education, prevention and treatment services for psychiatric illness and chemical dependency covering patients of all ages – from kids to older adults.

In keeping with our mission and values, Mercy is committed to serving patients with compassion, dignity and respect.

We offer both outpatient and hospital care services, including professional counseling and medication therapy as needed.

NAMI St. Louis is an organization of families, friends and individuals whose lives have been affected by mental illness. Together, we advocate for better lives for those individuals who have a mental illness, and we offer support, education and advocacy as we do so.

Behavioral Health Urgent Care at SSM Health is the region’s first and only urgent care/walk-in clinic dedicated to mental health. The clinic treats both adults and children in urgent need of care for mental health crises. This service provides immediate access to behavioral health care without the often long and costly wait for Emergency Room care to address non-emergent issues.

St. Patrick's Center focuses their supports on individuals and families who are in need of  mental health supports. They also support those who are experiencing homelessness

These services are available to those who may reside in St. Louis City or St. Louis County.

St. Patrick's Center also has Supportive Services for Veteran Families (SSVF) which operates in seven neighboring counties: Franklin, Jefferson, Lincoln, St. Charles, St. Francois, Warren and Washington.

PCS Behavioral Health partnered with Missouri Department of Mental Health, Division of Developmental Disabilities to provide Enhanced System of Support (ESOS).

Human Trafficking

Gateway Human Trafficking's goal is to empower communities through educational opportunities which include how to identify and report human trafficking to minimize victimization of vulnerable people. Lack of community awareness and existence of various types of social discriminations that some of our community members face make them even more vulnerable to trafficking situations.

If you would like additional information or you or someone you know is the victim of human trafficking, the National Human Trafficking Hotline can be reached 24 hours a day, 7 days a week at      1 (888) 373-7888.
