Universal Rule for Board Games - Players Decide Ambiguity: If players ever arrive at a situation not covered in the rulebook, and the rules offer no definitive answer, then players should feel free to decide what happens.

Q: Suppose I have a tournament, and I decide I would prefer not to use the Unusual results. What is the best thing to do when a "U" reading is rolled? (That is, what would have the least impact on statistics?)

A: From Keith: If you're not using the Unusual Results, just say every U is a "TV Timeout," and roll again!

Q: I’ve rolled on the unusual chart and got a reading that I now have to roll on the questionable chart for X frames. But I got no score. Do I roll again as if I got a gutter ball on my first bowl?

A: On unusual results, if no score is indicated, then no ball was rolled.
