WHAT DOES IT DO?:
This spell allows the phral linked with a familiar animal to project their consciousness through the eyes of their familiar animal, allowing them to see and experience the world from its perspective.
Ingredients:
A white ribbon.
Something from your familiar animal (A lock of hair, a feather, etc.).
Familiar animal.
Instructions:
1. Hold the object of your familiar animal with your left hand.
2. Hold the red ribbon with your right hand and focus on the special bond you share with your animal, imagining it as a chain, a cord, a line of light, etc.
3. Cut the ribbon into two parts, tie one to your familiar animal, and tie the other to the representative object.
4. Recite the incantation while holding the ribbon with the representative object.
Incantation:
Eyes that see, soul that understands,
With this bond of love and trust, I join with you.
Through your eyes, may my vision expand,
Into the world of animals, now I dive.
Words to the Wise:
To ensure a strong and clear connection, it's essential to have a deep and mutual bond with your familiar animal. Trust and love between the phral and their animal are crucial for the success of this spell.
Limits:
The duration of vision through the eyes of the familiar animal is limited by the mental and physical endurance of the practitioner. (Up to one hour of RP time maximum)
The actions of the animal cannot be influenced or controlled while using this spell.
The connection may be broken if the ribbon with the representative object is released, the familiar animal loses its tie, the phral's attention is distracted by external stimuli, or if the familiar animal becomes injured or frightened.
Side Effects:
Mental and physical fatigue after prolonged use of the spell. (Prepare to feel faint if used for too long).
The practitioner may experience brief moments of disorientation upon returning to their own body after using the spell.
May only be performed by a Phral whose base ability is Chiliko.
Visiting Limbo: The Chiliko ability is the only one that grants Phral the ability to visit Limbo and interact with Incarnates there, and to learn the name of an Incarnate. The Phral must ingest Vampire blood for this, and most have the aid of at least 1 other Phral, but more is recommended, since without proper preparation and aid (clear head, well-rested, well-fed, meditation, and a Phral to watch over the body) the Phral may risk getting stuck in Limbo. This can only be done once during the full moon. A Phral stuck in Limbo may be brought back with the aid of an Armaya and Sabbat (much like a summoning), or a group of Phral (not as effective as a Sabbat). Any Phral stuck in Limbo for more than 8 RP hours (not real-time hours) would need medical attention to make sure the body doesn’t die. After 16 hrs there is a possibility of the Phral becoming an Incarnate.
