Armaya is the hypnotist ability of the Phral. Like Vampires, they must have the intended person’s attention and eye contact and may be able to control them to do their bidding or make them believe something that is not true or see something that is not there. Armaya may use an artifact (like a small mirror or some other trinket) to get the intended victim’s attention. Two Armaya may create illusions on a grander scale that may affect up to 5 people in a 20 m radius without the aid of an artifact or potion. Consuming Vampire Blood will enhance the ability to do this as it aids in mimicking the Vampire Glamor.

You will need to explain the limits and also make sure they understand the limits of what they will see.
May only be performed by a Phral whose base ability is Armaya
Location Displacement Stone
This stone can only be created by a Phral with the base ability of Armaya, and only one Location Displacement Stone can be made per Armaya Phral during a full moon. Unlike a Mulengi Dori charm, these stones can only be used by a Phral. When activated, the stone affects everyone within 10 meters, causing them to see the user in a different location. It magnifies the Phral's illusion, creating mirages, afterimages, blurs, holograms, or distorted awareness to hide the user's true location. Once activated, the Phral has 15 minutes (4 post rounds) before the illusion wears off.
Summoning Incarnates
There are two ways to summon an incarnate :
Direct Summoning or Open Call Summoning.
Direct Summoning
This is used when you know the Incarnate that you want to summon. This is used when the need to pull an Incarnate from Limbo into a host body. The Phral will need to have the True Name of an Incarnate and may summon the Incarnate with the aid of at least 1 more Phral, but more is recommended. The Phral must have a vessel (a Human) ready to become Incarnate. The vessel may be voluntary or not. (Since the Human and Incarnate are played by the same person, do discuss this first!) Summoning can only be done during the full moon.
Open Call Summoning
This summoning is performed when the phral is trying to contact an incarnate without knowing a name. This is the more dangerous and unstable way of calling forth an incarnate. Similar to when doing a direct call it is recommended to have more than one phral close. A phral will go to an intersection (you can make an intersection using chalk)
Location Displacement Stone
Ingredients:
A polished moonstone
User's blood
An owl feather (symbolizing silent movement)
A sprig of nightshade (for concealment properties)
Silver dust (for the full moon’s essence)
vial of Essence of moonlight
small bowl
mirror
Instructions:
1. On the night of a full moon, prepare a sacred circle in an open space where the moonlight is unobstructed. ( this can be done any way you want)
2. Place the stone on top of the sprig of nightshade in the center of the circle and surround it with a ring of silver dust.
3. Pour the vial of Essence of moonlight
over the stone and nightshade. Make sure the stone is completely wet. Say Incantation 1 as you pour,
4. Prick your finger and let at least 4 drops of blood into the small blood.
5. Dipped the tip of the owl feather into the blood and draw two zigzag lines across the stone while saying Incantation 2
6. Hold the small mirror above the stone, reflecting the moonlight directly onto it. Focus your magic and chant incantation 3.
7. Allow the stone to remain in the moonlight until the blood has dried. Tie the sprig of nightshade around the stone.
Incantations
Incantation 1
"Luna's glow, pure and bright, Imbue this stone with illusion's might."
Incantation 2
"By blood and light, our fates entwine, Grant this stone the power divine."
Incantation 3
"Echoes of shadows, illusions unfurl, Conceal my presence from this world. With Luna's blessing and Phral's might, Displace my form within their sight."
Activation:
- To activate the Location Displacement Stone, the Phral must hold it firmly and whisper the activation word: "Illusio".
- The stone will then emit a faint, mystical glow, indicating the spell is active and affecting everyone within a 10-meter radius.
Duration:
- The illusion lasts for 15 minutes (4 post rounds), creating mirages, afterimages, blurs, holograms, or distorted awareness, effectively hiding the Phral’s true location.
- After the duration ends, the stone must be recharged under the light of the next full moon before it can be used again.
Important Notes:
- Only one Location Displacement Stone can be created per Armaya Phral during each full moon.
- Unlike the Mulengi Dori charm, these stones are exclusive to Phrals and cannot be used by others.
- The stone's power is tied to the Phral who created it, making it a unique and personal magical tool.
Ingredients:
A silver chalice filled with pure spring water
A sprig of hemlock
A piece of obsidian
A strand of the vessel's hair
A parchment inscribed with the True Name of the Incarnate
Candles to form a circle (one for each Phral participating)
The full moon
Instructions:
1. This spell is performed on the night of the full moon. Create a sacred circle with the candles, leaving enough space in the center for the vessel.
2. Place the silver chalice, hemlock, and obsidian within the circle.
3. Invocation of the Phrals:
Each Phral lights a candle and takes a position around the circle.
Hold hands to form a continuous link of energy and chant together: Incantation 1
4. Preparation of the Vessel:
Place the vessel (the Human) in the center of the circle.
Securely bind the strand of the vessel's hair to the piece of obsidian.
Submerge the obsidian in the silver chalice filled with spring water.
5. Chanting the True Name:
The leading Phral (who knows the True Name) takes the parchment and recites the True Name of the Incarnate aloud, focusing on the intent to summon the Incarnate from Limbo into the vessel: Incantation 2
6. Binding the Incarnate:
All Phrals join in the chanting, repeating the Incantation 3
Visualize a beam of moonlight descending upon the circle, enveloping the vessel and infusing it with the Incarnate's essence.
7. Finalization:
The lead Phral removes the obsidian from the chalice and places it on the vessel's chest, symbolizing the binding of the Incarnate to the host.
Pour the chalice's water around the vessel in a circle to seal the summoning.
8. Completion:
Extinguish the candles in unison, signaling the completion of the ritual.
Release hands and step back, allowing the vessel time to acclimate to the presence of the Incarnate.
Incantations
Incantation 1
"By the light of the moon, we gather as one,
To call forth the incarnate, our will be done."
Incantation 2
"In the name of [True Name], we call thee from Limbo's hold, To this mortal vessel, thy presence unfolds. Through the moon's pure light and magic's decree, Enter this host, so mote it be."
Incantation 3
"By our will and magic's force, Bind [True Name] to this mortal course."
Additional Notes:
Ensure that the vessel is ready and prepared for the summoning, whether voluntary or otherwise.
This ritual should be performed with care and consent, keeping in mind the ethical implications of summoning an Incarnate into a host.
For safety and control, it is recommended to have more than one Phral participate in the ritual.
Summoning should only be attempted during the full moon when the magical energies are at their peak.
Discussion and Consent:
Ensure that both the Human and Incarnate (played by the same person) have discussed and agreed upon the terms and conditions of the summoning beforehand to avoid any conflicts or misunderstandings.
Summons of the Unknown
Ingredients:
Chalk (to draw the intersection)
A black candle for each Phral participating
A bowl of salt
A silver mirror
A vial of moonlight essence (collected during a full moon)
An offering of blood from each participating Phral (a few drops each)
A small, personal item from the vessel (if available)
Instructions:
1. Perform the ritual on the night of a full moon. In an open space, use the chalk to draw an intersection with two lines crossing each other, forming a cross.
2. Place a black candle at each point of the intersection, forming a circle around it.
3. Invocation of the Phrals:
Each Phral stands at a point of the intersection, holding hands to form a continuous link of energy.
The lead Phral places the silver mirror at the center of the intersection.
4. Protection Circle:
Sprinkle the bowl of salt around the intersection, creating a protective barrier.
- Chant together Incantation 1
5. Offering and Activation:
Each Phral pricks their finger and lets a few drops of blood fall onto the silver mirror.
Pour the moonlight essence over the blood, allowing it to mix on the mirror's surface.
If available, place the small, personal item from the vessel next to the mirror.
6. Summoning the Unknown:
Light the black candles and begin to chant in unison Incantation 2
7 . Calling and Binding
Continue chanting, focusing your intent on summoning an Incarnate, regardless of its name: Incantation 3
Visualize a beam of moonlight descending upon the intersection, illuminating the silver mirror and the vessel's personal item.
8. Finalization:
The lead Phral holds up the mirror, reflecting the moonlight back into the intersection, symbolizing the connection between realms.
Pour any remaining moonlight essence around the intersection to seal the summoning.
9 Completion:
Extinguish the black candles in unison, signaling the completion of the ritual.
Release hands and step back, allowing the vessel time to acclimate to the presence of the Incarnate.
Incantations
Incantation 1
"By salt and stone, we cast this line,
To shield us from what we call in time."
Incantation 2
"In the name of moon's pure light, We call forth from Limbo's night. Unknown incarnate, hear our plea, Cross the veil and come to thee."
Incantation 3
"By our will and magic's call,
Enter this vessel, bind and thrall."
Additional Notes:
This ritual is inherently more dangerous and unstable due to the lack of a True Name.
Ensure that the vessel is ready and prepared for the summoning, whether voluntary or otherwise.
It is highly recommended to have more than one Phral participate in the ritual for safety and control.
Summoning should only be attempted during the full moon when the magical energies are at their peak.
Be prepared for unexpected outcomes, as summoning an unknown Incarnate can lead to unforeseen consequences.
Discussion and Consent:
Ensure that both the Human and the Incarnate (if known to be played by the same person) have discussed and agreed upon the terms and conditions of the summoning beforehand to avoid any conflicts or misunderstandings.
Open Call Summoning Spell
Purpose: To summon an Incarnate when the Phral does not know the Incarnate’s True Name. This method is dangerous and unstable as it summons a random Incarnate and may result in the Incarnate outing other Phral. The Phral will have no control over the summoned Incarnate, since they don’t know the True Name, and the Incarnate will be trapped until time runs out
See below for OOC notes
Materials Needed
- Charcoal
- Athame
- 5 minute hourglass
Procedure:
1 Gather Phral to help. You may do this alone, but this is a potentially dangerous spell and protection and help are recommended. Phral may wear masks or other disguises, and/or use Glamor to hide their identity if they chose.
2. Find a Crossroads: The Phral must locate a crossroads (an intersection of paths). If a suitable natural crossroads cannot be found, draw a large cross on the ground with charcoal to represent the intersection. Note that drawing the intersection with charcoal is less powerful and the chances of a successful summons are diminished..
3. Draw Blood: Use the athame to make a cut on the palm of their hand or finger (or wherever) and allow at least 7 drops of blood to fall on the center of the intersection. They must fall on the intersection! Any drops that fall on the side or other spots do not count!
4. Draw a circle: Use the charcoal to draw a circle around the intersection. It should be large enough to allow a body to stand in the center and out of arm’s reach of those on the outside. Care must be taken that there are no breaks or gaps in the circle as this would allow the Incarnate to step out
5. Perform the Summoning: At the crossroads, the Phral should stand on the south side of the circle, facing north (inward). Focus on the intention to summon an Incarnate, though the exact identity of the Incarnate remains unknown.
4. Begin the summoning by reciting the following chant:
“By crossroads' edge, where paths entwine,
I summon the unseen from realms divine.
In this fleeting moment, an Incarnate calls,
In shadows' embrace, as time swiftly falls.
Blood and hourglass, mark the bound,
For five minutes here, until the sand runs down.
By this rite, I bid thee to remain,
Until the last grain falls, and I am freed from this chain.”
DO NOT flip the hourglass until the Incarnate appears!
5. Handling the Incarnate: Once summoned, the Incarnate will be trapped at the crossroads until the sand runs out.. The Phral does not have control over the Incarnate due to not knowing their True Name. But may exact promises, ask for information, etc. The Incarnate will only respond to the summoning Phral.
6. When time runs out the Incarnate will disappear (TP back to where they were).
OOC NOTES:
Prepare a NC beforehand explaining the ritual and its effects to pass on to the Incarnate who agrees to play.
The spell must be put in the OOC chat and RP chats to allow Incarnates to respond. Discuss and agree OOC which Incarnate will come. Note that if no incarnate agrees to the RP the spell failed.
The Incarnate should TP into the scene (IC would be in the middle of the intersection over the blood)
The Incarnate is bound to the Phral by blood for the 5 minutes - players may RP at will and decide on their own when the 5 minutes are up.
Other Phral present will see and hear the Incarnate, and the Incarnate will see and hear them, but will only respond to the summoning Phral. So all questions, comments, etc, must be asked or said via the summoning Phral
When the last grain of sand falls the Incarnate will TP back to where they were before the summoning
Because of the nature of the summoning and the blood bond, the incarnate will be able to recognize the Phral’s magic signature and may identify them if they come close to them (20 m SL), even if the summoning Phral was disguised. If the Incarnate was angry, Phral beware!
**Warnings:**
- The summoning is inherently unstable and risky, as the Phral will not have control over the Incarnate and may inadvertently cause more trouble.
- Ensure safety measures are in place, and be prepared for potential backfire or unintended consequences.
