I have dedicated my career to improving the learning of all students through well-informed approaches to the teaching and learning process. When research informs educational practice, powerful impacts can be made on student learning. Guided by this principle, I have used my background in special education to support academic skill development of individual students and to help teachers build more effective learning experiences through purposeful training, specific feedback, and purposeful mentoring. I am able to build strong working relationships through my thoughtful, organized, and empathic nature.
