Room 4310 1st and 2nd Periods
This will be my 7th year at AHS, and my 22nd year teaching chemistry at the high school and college level. I was honored to receive the American Chemical Society High School Chemistry Teacher of the Year award for Northeast Georgia in 2009 and was selected as STAR teacher for Flowery Branch High School and the Hall County School system in 2010. I earned a Ph.D. in Inorganic Chemistry from Emory University in 1998. I also earned a Bachelor of Music in Flute Performance from the Eastman School of Music in 1988, and I enjoy music, outdoor adventures with my dogs, kayaking, paddle boarding, gardening, cooking, and travel.
