In the first year of the MAC program, I had the opportunity to go to New York and see the facilities at Columbia University and NYU-Institute of Fine Arts which is where the students graduate conservation lab is located. I also had time to visit the MET and the Morgan library during the free time of the conference.
In second year, Queen's University hosted ANAGPIC and it was an opportunity to help create the logo used on all the swag and program information which you can see in the header above. This was an opportunity to use the logo and acknowledge traditional territory of the Haudenosaunne and Anishinaabe peoples in which Queen's University is situated. This can be seen in the "A" which has a thunderbird type wing lined with the two lines on the top which pay tribute to the two row wampum belt of the haudenosaunne peoples. I also helped in organizing the various events held during the conference and volunteered for set up the events. It was a success and everyone had enjoyed their time.
