RESTAURANT SERVER PROGRAM

Program Overview:
The Restaurant Server Program is a 40-hour, hands-on training designed to equip participants with the essential skills to succeed in front-of-house restaurant roles. The program is structured into five interactive modules covering restaurant basics, customer service, menu knowledge, payment handling, and practical role-play scenarios. Trainees will gain confidence in greeting customers, taking orders, handling payments, and delivering excellent service through a mix of instruction, role-playing, and real-world simulations.

Duration: 40 hours total / 5 modules (8 hours each module)
Schedule: Saturdays 12:15 pm-1:00 pm

This program is ideal for individuals new to the restaurant industry, career changers, high school graduates, or anyone looking to gain valuable service skills and enter the hospitality workforce with confidence—no prior experience required!

Module 1: Restaurant Basics (8 hours)

Menu item descriptions and ingredients (2 hours)
Ordering and serving food and beverages (2 hours)
Managing special requests and dietary restrictions (2 hours)

Module 4: Payment and Transactions (8 hours)
Handling payments and operating a point-of-sale system (2 hours)
Managing cash and credit transactions (2 hours)
Processing orders and handling customer payments (2 hours)

Module 5: Role-Playing and Practice (8 hours)
Practicing restaurant scenarios and role-plays (4 hours)

CITIZENSHIP PROGRAM

Program Overview:
Our Citizenship Classes are designed to help lawful permanent residents prepare for the U.S. naturalization process with confidence. This comprehensive course covers U.S. history and government, the rights and responsibilities of citizenship, and preparation for the civics and English components of the naturalization interview. Lessons include reading, writing, and speaking practice tailored to the USCIS exam format. These classes are ideal for green card holders who are eligible or soon to be eligible to apply for U.S. citizenship, especially those seeking guided support in understanding the process, improving English skills, and gaining the knowledge needed to pass the naturalization interview and test.

WHO SHOULD APPLY:
These classes are ideal for lawful permanent residents (green card holders) who are eligible or close to being eligible to apply for U.S. citizenship. Individuals who want help preparing for the naturalization test, especially those who need support with English reading, writing, and speaking, or learning U.S. history and government, will benefit most. The program is especially helpful for older adults, those with limited formal education, and anyone seeking a structured, supportive environment to successfully complete the naturalization process.
