PACCAL’s Arts and Culture (A&C) Programs
celebrate and preserve Filipino arts, culture, heritage, and history—treasures passed down
from generation to generation through meaningful events and activities.

From the earliest days when the first Filipino Americans began settling in Jersey City, arts and culture
have been central to family life. Traditions, values, and legacies have been handed down
through music, dance, storytelling, and community gatherings.
These practices not only honor our roots but also strengthen the values that continue to guide us today.

Through A&C, we remain committed to reminding our community of where we come from and
to nurturing pride in our shared heritage. We invite everyone to join us in celebrating, experiencing,
and passing forward the richness of our culture—together.
