Class Connect recordings are made during synchronous CC sessions. These are live events that include active student participation. Newrow does not record interaction in student chat, so this will not be available on recordings. YouTube videos played during these sessions are also not visible in the recording. Teachers will make the recording available after class has ended. And will show up on the Class Connect session date. The name of the class session will be converted to a hyperlink once the recording is available. Please note that recordings are posted by the system and may not be available until the next day.
Teachers will not post CC links in the course. Rather, teachers will direct students (and remind them often!) to get recordings from My Schedule.
To make a CC recording available, navigate to you main landing page. (You can hit the house icon in the upper left corner).
Select MY SCHEDULE from the landing page. Click Manage.
Navigate to the date of the session then click on the Session Name.
Click the Show Recording button.
