Appearance: Standing at 5'8" with a thin wiry build, most are surprised to find out she weighs 175 lbs despite her slim appearance. She has a considerable amount of muscle, though most of it seems to be from gymnastics rather than strength building. Often overlooked at first, behind her swings a long black cat tail, which she uses to help her keep balance.
Her black hair is thick and often kept in a braid down her back and at the top of her head sit a pair of catlike ears. Her yellow eyes are equally catlike with a vertical pupil and her skin is a light tan from spending many a day sunbathing and napping on rooftops. With sharp features, retractable claws, and a devilish smirk showing off fangs, Kitty definitely looks like a troublemaker.
She generally wears lots of dark clothes, with a hood or scarf to pull up and hide her face with. If she is on a job she will also wear many layers to conceal her true gender, making it much harder to identify her when people go searching. Under all her layers she will wear something a bit more appropriate of a young girl her age, like a pair of shorts and a generic band t-shirt.
If being pursued, she will shed her outer layers and disappear into the crowd as just another ordinary face. On days when she is not working a job or causing trouble, Kitty likes to wear a bright red hoodie, often keeping the hood up to conceal her ears from grabby children who "want to pet the kitty cat".
Hero outfit: It's a simple black zip up bodysuit, made with built in padding for protection. The collar and cuffs of her suit have black fur as if to resemble that of a feline, along with a silent bell in place of a normal zipper and the suit is specifically modified to accommodate her cat-like features. Specifically, the gloves and shoes are tailored perfectly to her hand and feet, allowing her to extend and retract her claws with each without losing the protection the items provide. She always wears a simple black mask over the top half of her face, protecting her eyes from dirt and other debris.
Personality: Kitty is what most people would call a trouble child. Known to be wild and reckless, Kitty loves getting into messes or starting them herself. She is a thrill seeker who never really got told no as a child (and never really listened if she was told) so if she wants it she'll get it. She has no issues cheating, lying, or using people to reach her goals, though Kitty always has her reasons.
Despite being a troublemaker and a past delinquent, Kitty is not a malicious girl. She actually cares a whole lot more than people give her credit for. More often than not Kitty is quite selfless when it comes to taking care of her friends or those less fortunate than herself. She is also known to be quite fickle, showing her affection through odd means. Some days she can be completely cold while others she is incredibly kind and affectionate.
It's hard to say what causes the odd mood swings (though most assume it's due to her cat mutation). She's never worked with others and has no desire to do so, preferring to solo it in almost every situation. She can be a bit cocky and even rude at times, generally believing she is more street smart than most of the kids her age. Kitty holds a particular distaste for most of the students within the hero program, especially those from more prosperous lifestyles. She will likely be more aggressive and competitive with those students.
History: Kitty was abandoned at a very young age, found living on the streets at the age of four eating from trash cans and hiding from the rain in boxes. She was taken in by a small orphanage where she was raised among other abandoned children all struggling to survive. Their caretaker, an elderly woman who was unable to have children herself, did everything she could to house as many kids as possible.
Still, there were many nights Kitty and her orphaned siblings went hungry. Unable to stand seeing her family struggle, Kitty turned to thievery. For years she perfected using her claws to scale buildings, pick locks, and eventually how to fight. When she started growing a name for herself as a cat burglar, Kitty also began taking on jobs as a courier, transporting illegal and often dangerous items for the local villains.
It was awful work that she never truly wanted to partake in, but Kitty was desperate to provide for her family and couldn't stand the thought of having to live on the streets ever again. It was on one of these transportation missions, when Kitty was about 12, that she was caught by a Pro Hero. She thought it was all over, but the Hero, upon seeing how young Kitty was, took pity on her.
She gave Kitty an ultimatum: Go to jail and face punishment for her crimes, or give up stealing and apply at U.A. to become a hero and do something good with her Quirk. At first, Kitty was disgusted. What had heroes ever done for her? What had they done for her starving siblings? What had they done for Kitty when she was just a child living in the trash? But in the end, trying to become a hero was better than going to jail.
She reluctantly agreed, promising the hero she would try to get into the school and follow the straight and narrow from now on. 3 years later, Kitty is now a student at U.A. in class 1-A, still under the watchful eye of the hero who caught her 3 years ago and (mostly) keeping her promise of being good and giving up her life of minor villainy.

She also has slightly sharp canines, her teeth also steel, but she doesn't generally bite people because her teeth are a bit weaker (and she thinks it's gross).

Appearance: Rei is a rather tall, slender kid, around 6'1", at a good weight of 146lbs (66kgs). She is fair, much like her cousin, Shoto. Rei has a lean, athletic build to her and has piercing blue eyes. Her pure white hair is similar in length to her father's in that it’s , but that's where the likenesses end. Rei’s fringe is in her eyes, but she doesn’t mind one bit. She’s styled it so the left bang comes down past her chin, to the middle of her neck, and the right is perfectly level with her chin. Rei also has a layer of frost on her body, which she simply doesn't care about, because her body temperature is below freezing anyway.
Hero outfit: Her hero outfit starts with an insulated hybrid, zip-up jacket. The hood and front part of under the neck, along with the top of the shoulders, is coloured red. Under the arms and right down to the wrists is coloured orange. The rest of the jacket is purple in colour. Her pants are also insulated and are orange, with two black buttons on the waist area. Lastly, her micro-fiber insulated gloves are yellow and black and are made from cowhide. Also, she wears hiking boots with ice cleats.
Personality: Rei, at her core, is kinda stubborn; much like a terrier - once she's gotten her teeth stuck into something, she won't let go. Very passionate about training, as she trains past her limits every day. But also is obsessive about looking after her family. Learning about how her auntie and cousin were treated by her uncle, she swore to protect Shoto any way she could. Because she has devoted so much time to this task, the idea of love and finding a partner hasn't occurred to her. However, Monoma is definitely her number one rival; the guy's attitude pisses her off so much.
History: Rei was born the year before her cousin, Shoto, but in May instead of January, like she was hoping. Her family was wealthy, but not as wealthy as the Todoroki’s. But she wasn’t raised to be a whimsical child. From the very start, she was taught to be well-mannered.
From the first moment she knew she had been named after her aunt, she held her close to her heart; her cousins immediately took a liking to her as well. However, most of her childhood was spent away from Shoto, due to the exhausting training and pressure put onto him by Enji, her uncle, whom she feared deeply ever since she first met him. Sousetsu tried to talk her through it, but his efforts fell on deaf ears. Later, she heard her father discussing it with his sister as if there was a way for Rei to like him somehow.
She spent numerous weekends in the Todoroki household, mostly playing with Fuyumi. Every now and then, she could get to see Shoto, but only for a short amount of time. And every time, she tried to persuade him to ditch training and come play with them, much to Fuyumi’s frustration and fear. When Enji found out, though, he went up to Sousetsu when she was present and sternly told him to get his daughter off Shoto’s back, enraging Sousetsu greatly. He tried to argue with Enji, but it was proven pointless very quickly, as he was told he just wouldn’t understand Shoto’s purpose.
Rei found out about the “accident” through her father. Even as she cried and yelled at everyone to let her see her cousin, they wouldn’t let her. And she hated Enji even more from that day on. Learning about her aunt’s admittance to hospital left a big emotional and mental scar on her heart. Her hatred for Enji and everything he stood for buried itself deep in her very core. It wasn’t until years later that she understood fully what had happened. After trying to visit her aunt, only to be told she was in the psychiatric ward, she never stopped blaming Enji for everything that had happened to that side of her family.
Her father would always keep her up to date with what was happening thanks to Fuyumi: the progress her aunt was making and the way Shoto’s Quirk was growing to unbelievable levels for someone of his age - she had always thought of his Quirk as something admirable and she could only hope to see how he handled it soon. With every word she heard about that side of her family, it was as if something was awakening inside: a deep desire to keep them all away from any danger and away from him, seeing him as the root of all the problems.
She carried it with her throughout her life, her determination to become a hero who could help pained or abused people feel free again became stronger by the minute. Her goals became one step closer to reality when she was accepted into U.A., although she had no idea her cousin would also be there. Rei could tell, however, that something was indeed different: the way he moved, the way he talked, the look in his eyes - he was hurt and she could tell better than anyone else around him. It broke her heart to see him like that. With newfound courage, she swore to become the shield that would protect both her family and the world, hoping to make it a better place where no one would need to be broken down in order to reach someone else’s goals.

Powers/Abilities: This quirk allows the user to drastically lower the temperature of the air they inhale and exhale it as pure frost by turning the water vapour in the air to ice that is light enough to be carried on wind. When the frost touches any living thing, it can cause cell death from frostbite (unless the cells it touches are already dead or have a resistance to freezing temperatures/frostbite), but it needs at least some time on the body to do so. If used on an object, it causes the object to become extremely cold and brittle.

Appearance: Jalissa has a lot of thick, type 4C, hair. It's black and most of the time, she wears two space buns at the top of her head, with the rest of hair down. Sometimes she will wear all of it in one or two buns. And sometimes she'll just rock the full on afro. She has thick eyebrows too. She has dark brown eyes and a wide nose. She has full lips too and both of them are a darker shade than her skin colour. She is missing a tooth (an adult tooth so it won't grow back). Her skin is dark brown and she does have scars. The scars are mainly on her wrists and upper thighs, though. She would wear long sleeves to hide the scars on her arms, but she really doesn't like long-sleeved-anything. She is very short, standing only at 4'8'' and she is pretty chubby.

Personality: Jalissa does not like crowds, at all. She hates being around a lot of people and will (most of the time) choose any option that allows her to only be around a few people or none at all. School is hell for her because of that reason. It's not even that she's just a loner, it's just annoying due to her quirk. She's a pretty sociable and friendly person.
She's really talkative and can honestly talk about anything for hours if anyone let her. She is really enthusiastic and energetic too and is always up for trying any new ideas as long as it doesn't involve being around too many people. She's also really optimistic, but mostly for other people. Anytime it comes to herself, she's rather pessimistic. Not to mention, she also has really low self-esteem.
She makes frequent self-depreciating jokes. She has this crippling fear of failing the people who she cares about, and even if she hates large crowds, she also has this crippling fear of being completely isolated. She has a fear of tight spaces and, though she wouldn't panic right away, it would visibly make her nervous if she were in a tight space. The panic would come along if she's in a tight space for too long.
Jalissa has this caring and helpful nature; she doesn't consider it a burden if someone needs a favour from her and actually really enjoys helping people when she can. She always has trouble pinpointing what her emotions are and how she's feeling at the moment. She has to actively stop and think about how she herself feels just to vocalize what her emotions are. She's easily irritated too, very easily irritated.
However, she usually bottles up her emotions. So it gets to a point where one little thing will make her explode and all that. And she cries a lot. She cries when she's angry, when she's sad, when she's really happy, etc. And she's stubborn. Jalissa is very, very stubborn. It can take quite a bit to change her mind and, sometimes, it's easier to change her mind than other times.
Jalissa can hold grudges for a long, long time. She has this never forgive, never forget mentality. She will do almost anything for the people she considers friends though, and to those that she considers friends, she is very, very affectionate. Even if she isn't the smartest academic wise, she is very street smart.
History: Jalissa is an Arkansan; she's had to deal with plenty of people shaming her and her skin tone, calling her plenty of racial slurs and all. Not to mention that Arkansas is a part of the bible belt, so it took her a bit to accept her sexuality too. However, she left Arkansas and moved to LA when she was 12. Those 12 years though, she dealt with a bunch of bullying, due to the fact that she was black and dark skinned.
Even the teachers treated her differently than her white classmates. This did cause her to develop self-worth and self-esteem issues. It was because of this that she did start self-harming, mostly to punish herself and because she truly believed that she was worth nothing. Once her cousin found out, he did everything he could to help her. They couldn't afford a therapist and everything. So, he started looking for jobs outside of the state. He got accepted to one in LA and then they moved.
Away from Arkansas, away from her old bullies and teachers, away from all that. LA was a chance at a new beginning. She's been living with her cousin ever since she was a baby, though. She's never really ever met her parents. Once they were in LA, though, her and her cousin, De'Andre, didn't live in too good part of town. Jalissa was around a lot of gang activity and crime. She's sorta kinda been desensitized to it. She's gotten into plenty of fights, losing one of her (adult) teeth in one of them.
She's made friends and everything. She's made some lifelong friends that she does talk to whenever she needs a pick-me-up. She loves her friends and they love her. And unlike in Arkansas, in LA, she was able to just be herself. Her skin was praised, her hair was praised and none of her friends judged her for her sexuality. She was much happier in the hoods of LA than she ever was in Arkansas.
However, she always did her best to help the people in her neighborhood whenever they needed it. She would cook food for people, she'd run little errands, etc. Basically, she'd do anything to help people. De'Andre knew this and knew that going to U.A. would do Jalissa a lot of good. He convinced her to apply and take the entrance exams. And she passed.

Powers/Abilities: Jalissa can sense and manipulate the emotions of themselves, people (so far she's only limited to humans atm) animals and other creatures, whether by increasing, decreasing, causing or otherwise channeling emotions, even manifesting the emotional energy to physical level. However, there are definitely some pretty harsh consequences that come with this power.
Jalissa has to focus to influence the emotions of someone, it's easier if she makes direct eye contact. And it's harder if she doesn't. However, she just senses everyone's emotions no matter what. And that's not too good. Being in a crowded area can cause her to get a bit overloaded, and it causes splitting headaches. And these headaches just get worse the longer she's around a huge crowd of people.
If she's some crowded place for too long, her nose will start bleeding as well and will kinda just keep bleeding till she gets away from a lot of people. Even trying to manipulate the emotions of to many people can cause splitting headaches and nosebleeds. When she manifests the emotional energy, she can launch it at people. It's more of an emotional wave though than some type of physical attack. And the manifestation of emotional is a lot more intense than when she's just trying to do it herself.
But every time she does this, she always gets a nosebleed and it really tires her out. At most, she can manifest the emotional energy about 10 times. She can also charge up the waves and make them more intense. Charging the waves so it's 5 times as strong would count as five waves in terms of tiring her out. The waves does have a physical effect on things, the waves are able to push things back, how much force the waves use to push things back depend on how much she charges up the waves.
If they cause any pain depends on the pain tolerance of the other person. She can also create these beams made of concentrated emotional energy, and these are more accurate when hitting her target. They do cause pain, but how much really depends on the pain tolerance of the other person. This attack also is physical and is able to push things away and all.
It's not like a laser, so it doesn't really destroy anything. These take time to form though and it tires her out quicker than the waves. She can use it at tops 10 minutes before tiring herself out way to much. She can either use her hands (stronger) or her eyes (more accurate than using her hands). And she can create this balls of emotional energy and launch them to. How much they tire her out really depends on the size.

Hero outfit: His hero outfit is pretty simple and takes advantage of the werewolf most people think he’s based on. All he wears is a torn up pair of shorts, with no shirt or shoes.
Personality: Highly sociable and can't resist attention, he's good at bonding with others and negotiating. He can become incredibly flirtatious. He likes working with others and is incredibly protective towards his friends, occasionally going as far as challenging bullies who teased his friends to fights. One of his greatest weaknesses is his lack of self restraint, being unable to turn down a challenge stemming from a lifelong need to prove himself. He can become incredibly sarcastic at times, and he's a good liar. One thing he can't resist is drama, whether he's the one who starts it or is merely an observer, he's always enjoyed watching conflict unfold. The dog boy also acts happy as he is depressed from losing his brother and doesn't want to let his classmates see he is down.
History: Grew up with four older brothers and spent most of his childhood overshadowed by them. His family isn't incredibly well-off and his parents work most days, leaving their sons unsupervised. In primary school, he gained a reputation for being a good debater and public speaker.
His brothers were all older than him when his family moved beside the Rikimarus' as their neighbour. As soon as he learned his next door neighbour was a cat, he unintentionally began making a nuisance of himself for her and they grew to hate each other.
Since he was 12, he's been keeping track of weak, low-levelled villains in the city and has been sneaking out to fight them in order to become a stronger hero. He once had an accidental fight against a couple of heroes who were suspicious of him sneaking around the city at night.
Since then, he's been slightly paranoid about running into the two of them again, which he hasn't yet. Literally two weeks before he was accepted into U.A., he watched his seventeen-year-old brother die in front of him. He developed PTSD from the tragedy and needs someone to help comfort him right now.

Hero outfit: His costume is made of a heavy duty two piece wetsuit like material that draws small amounts of moisture into his skin to keep him hydrated. The top has a slit on the back for his fin and is a gray color and his pants go past his ankles and wrap around his feet they are black. His water collar is smaller and more compacted allowing him more flexibility and movement. If by chance he fights in water he can remove his collar and tuck it in an small pocket inside his top.
Personality: His temper gets the better of him most of the time. It could be because his quirk is a shark or that is just his temperament. He often is known to ‘hunt’, or follow, certain people around for a few hours and then just drift away. That doesn’t mean he doesn’t try to make friends, it’s just difficult for him.
History:
Jameson Cooper (Father) Shark: He and his son look exactly alike; the only difference is that Jameson’s colour tint is a yellow versus his son’s pale green.
Harrison lives with his dad in a small apartment on the far side of town, it is extremely close to the ocean which allows him and his dad to go swimming when ever they want. Harrison’s mother left both of them after realizing that Harrison took after his father in both quirks, personality and behavior. That left Harrison in a worse temperament then how he was is the beginning, living so far from everything has made it hard for both father and son to find any income. Harrison’s father makes their only income by diving in the ocean and pulling up debris and sunken items, he works long and hard hours, leaving his son to fend for himself most of the time. When Harrison isn’t in school, he goes to the docks and helps his father with clean up.
Equipment/Weapons: His water oxygenated collar that his wears. It looks like a really small inner tube that is around his neck, it's made of shark-proof material and its clear. It draws in moisture from the air and cycles in and out oxygen and carbon dioxide. A small utility belt that only has his collapsible trident. When fighting he wears a clear cover over his mouth and nose it prohibits the scent of blood getting to him while fighting his opponent so he doesn’t go into a frenzy. A trident that has obsidian points: it can collapse into a small cylinder that he can clip his side when not in use.

Character Strengths: Excellent tracker, especially when it comes to tracking anything in water. Exceptional stamina and endurance. Exceptional spearman: he learnt how to use a spear so that he could wield a trident.
Character Weaknesses: His temper can get the better of him. His hunting could be seen as creepy. If the specialized oxygenated collar broke, he would have trouble breathing, pass out and die if not treated.
Other: He has a pair of gills that line the sides of his throat, he has to keep a specialized collar that hold oxygenated water around his neck so he can breathe. His teeth are also really large and come in two rows. They still fit his mouth normally but when he smiles you see that their a little larger than normal teeth. Oh and he has a large dorsal fin that is a pale green on his back. He is bisexual and in love with Storm.

Appearance: Harrison has the qualities and characteristics of a shark. Harrison has a two-toned skin a normal dark brown then a pale green that covers certain body parts, on his back his has a large dorsal fin and tail that he keeps tied to his back that are the same color as the pale green sections on his body. His neck has a pair of gills that are also pale green, they are where he breathes from so he needs to wear a specialized collar that holds oxygenated water for him.
His skin itself has a slight slipperiness to it, reminisce of shark skin. His quirk gives him large sharp teeth that can regrow when knocked out or when they naturally fall out. He is stronger than an average person, and his bite has the normal bite force of great white. He can use his tail for attacks as well as helping him to move in water. His skin is also thicker than normal human skin, making it harder to cut and or inflict damage on. His sense of smell is heightened as well as his taste. His quirk is often more suited for water movements, but he does his best on land.

Personality: In terms of personality, Storm is a rather calm and collected individual, always keeping a cool head about whatever situation she's in. She's extremely intelligent and thoughtful, analyzing situations before jumping straight into them and usually relies on pure information and calculation instead of emotions or intuition.
Storm has also fallen head over heels in love with Harrison, the shark boy. She likes spending time with him, in the environment they thrive in the most - the water.
Storm is extremely serious when it comes to missions, fighting villains, participating in tests and will not lose concentration during class. She is a pretty friendly person when it comes to socializing, never wanting to push someone's comfort zone or make them feel unwanted. She is a serious girl who had her heart in the right place and, although she can come off as a bit cold when people first meet her, this mermaid (technically) can be quite the loyal ally.
However, if there is a person who refuses to cooperate with her, or screws up the mission because of personal interests, Storm will not be so kind to them. She will continuously either ignore or rebuke them until they change, as they can serve as a hindrance to the class if they do not. She can't help herself while she does this and could end up saying rather hurtful things without knowing it.
She feels extremely bad for those she does deeply upset when she sees it has a negative effect on them and tries to fix the problem as soon as possible. Even when it's fixed, though, Storm will still feel somewhat responsible for what she did and will wish she could make the outcome better. She can act rather illogical and stupid for a girl that uses logic to rationalize everything, though she still means well for others.
Speaking of others, although Storm always keeps a level head, she can lose her cool if pushed too far, which usually involves someone getting hurt or killed. If someone is hurt or killed, especially a friend, Storm will feel immense guilt on how she couldn't stop the act from happening. Although she won't be actively searching for the culprit, if ever faced by them, this mermaid will show no mercy. Basically: don't fuck with Storm's friends.

Daisaku Yaruhasha (Reptilification): Japanese-born, Daisaku is a calm, hardly unruffled type whose Quirk allows him to transform his body into that of an anthro komodo. A detective, he uses this ability to aid the police in hunting villains who've become too smart for the police to catch on their own. Cold-hearted on the job, he knows how to relax while off duty. His hero name is Lizardman.
Isabella Yaruhasha nee Taylor (Blessing of the Deep): British-born, but moved to Japan when she was young. Isabella is a no-nonsense woman who genuinely cares for her family, especially her daughter, who inherited her Quirk from her. Description: When the user gets wet with water, their legs are replaced with a sparkling fish tail like a mermaid. If they come in contact with enough water, they will even sport gills and can travel at amazing speeds in the water. Likewise, if they are only splashed with a bit of water, their legs and arms will sprout a few scales. The longer they are in the water, the longer the effect lasts while being completely dry will stop the quirk altogether. Like many fish, their eyes have a thin film on them that makes vision under water clear instead of the typical blur one would normally see when opening their eyes under water. Salt water will not bother their eyes but chlorine will still burn and cause irritation.
Strengths: So long as the user can keep themselves wet, they won't have to worry about their quirk suddenly shutting down as it doesn't get "exhausted". In the water, they are nearly unmatched unless going against someone with a water quirk as well. They can swim at high speeds, hear better due to sound traveling faster in water and their tail is extremely powerful. It could be considered as strong as both their legs combined while also being more flexible.
Weaknesses: The quirk is absolutely useless in dry and arid areas as the user would quickly dry up and end the effects of the quirk. If they are forced to fight on dry land, they would be vastly hindered by their tail. On land, it would be clumsy and awkward to use like trying to move around with your legs tied around the ankles. Aside from their tail, the user has no other weapons and the fish tail itself is sensitive to pain. Hitting something sharp or hard will hurt them just as much as whatever they hit.

Appearance: The first thing noticed about Aspen is that she has antlers sprouting out of her skull like a deer's, hooves and a tuft of a tail. She has a lean and thin body, carrying more taut muscle than womanly curves, and she stands at a height of 5'6". She has an oval shaped face, with narrowed chestnut colored eyes, wide-set cheekbones, thick eyebrows and a slightly crooked nose.
Her dark auburn hair is chopped short, reaching down to her chin in uneven strands; her own work since she found it troublesome to take care of. She has olive toned skin, with small scatterings of scars here and there, such as a horizontal tear beneath her right eye and a long pale scratch curving over her left shoulder. The ring-finger on her left hand is twisted slightly from having healed wrong after being broken.

Personality: Aspen is mostly withdrawn, not going out of her way to talk to people or make conversation. Though whenever she does, she comes across as rude and abrasive, not caring whether or not she hurts someone's feelings. This, along with the way she has a hot temper and enjoys messing with people, is what gets her into so many fights. She can't find it in herself to stand idle when someone is being abused or when their life is on the line, as she sees life as something to be cherished. She can also be incredibly protective and loyal towards people she sees as close or just those she admires.
History: At first Aspen's home life was normal. Her mother was a stay-at-home mom who pinned Aspen's childish drawings to the fridge and tucked her into bed at night with lullabies and stories of old tales her grandmother had told her as a child. Her father had a regular office job, and though he was rarely home, he never failed to give her shoulder rides or make her his famous peanut butter and chips sandwich. But one day, without warning, their normal little family was turned upside down.
Her father had been gambling behind her mother's back, and had placed them heavily in debt. They lost their home and all of their belongings, and ended up moving into a building that was more shack than house. Life was rough, and not only at home. While school Aspen was starting to get bullied for her ugly and shabby clothes, which ended up in her getting into more and more fights. At home, her father turned to alcohol and became increasingly abusive towards Aspen and her mother. And in turn her mother slowly started to shrink into herself, going through each day like an empty shell and not responding to her own injuries or Aspen's cries of pain.
One night, when Aspen was only 8, her father went too far and ended up accidentally killing her mother. He ordered Aspen to help him hide her body, since she had a quirk that made it easier to bury the body. He then threatened her to keep the whole thing a secret or she would end up the same way. And this wasn't the only time she had to help her father bury a body. He would often find pleasure in not only bringing prostitutes home, but assaulting them to the point of death. These events were so traumatizing to her at a young age that she could never find it in herself to revolt against her father, despite how she could have used her quirk to overpower him.
Years passed and the abuse never stopped. And while some of her injuries were serious, her father made sure she rarely stepped foot in a hospital and, the times she did, he always made sure there was a believable story.
Her only solace during these times was her grandparents. They didn't live too far away, but had become distant due to her father's debt crises and the way he didn't want her mother to go back to them. They would shelter her, and though they only guessed what was happening at home, Aspen never revealed to them what was truly going on. And even though she was punished by her father for leaving, she always found herself going back to them. Aspen had always thought of running away to them, they'd even suggested it, but her fear towards her father was too strong and she worried for her grandparents life along with her own. It was actually them that convinced her to take the U.A. entrance exam, which finally got her away from her father.

In the future she will be able to manipulate plants without having to place her hand on the ground or the plant and, with enough energy, be able to enlarge plants beyond their normal sizes.

Appearance: Some would claim that Haruno has a face that only a mother could love. While it still held human proportions, instead of a traditional human mouth and jaw, he has large sideways moving mandibles, maxilla, labium and a hypopharynx. He has large, black compound eyes on either side of his face, with no nose in between, and three ocelli in the middle of his forehead in a triangular formation.
The top and back of his head are covered by messy brown which appears to have two hair antennae poking out the top, but are in fact actual antennae the same shade as his hair. While he is clearly not overweight, it's difficult to see Haruno's exact build due to him having a thick exoskeleton which covers almost his entire body.
What is clear however is that most of his height can be contributed to his legs which are slightly out of proportion to the rest of his body. The majority of the exoskeleton is a dull green in color with various black patches on his neck and limbs. Attached to his back are two pairs of long overlapping wing which reach down to his ankles. The top pair is harder and less flexible than the bottom, acting as protection for the hind pair as well as assisting in flight.
Hero outfit: When designing his outfit, Haruno chose to remain rather simple and basic. A short-sleeved, skin-tight light grey top with partial zip at the front, and a large hole cut out the back for his wings. Dull grey vambraces and rebraces on his arms to provide additional protection. A pair of black three quarter length shorts, wooden geta sandals and fingerless climbing gloves.
Personality: Haruno is and always has been defined by his greed. He wants to be a hero because he wants money and glory. He wants his name to be known by the entire world. He wants to be loved and adored by all. He wants more than what he has, and probably always will. He doesn't hide the fact either, because he also wants the truth from others and despises hypocrisy.
This honesty makes him fairly irritating when bored, as he's willing to declare it loud and proud to anyone within hearing range and will bug people until he has something to do. Haruno hates having nothing to do.
He resents his appearance for how it detriments towards his goals, but at the same time he can't stand the idea of looking even slightly different, because he wants all of what makes him Haruno Inago to be loved, not just the nicer bits.
His exceptional selfishness also manifests as a massive soft spot for the people who he sees as being his. Primarily his fellow orphans, but it also applies to anyone he actually considers a friend. While this form of selfishness can occasionally clash with his personal desires, he is willing to put the latter aside for the former.
Aside from his opaque and wide range greediness, Haruno is very much a fifteen-year-old boy. He's able to hold a friendly conversation with both genders fairly well but is clueless when it comes to romance. He makes stupid decisions and gets angry over things even more stupid than that.
History: Haruno's earliest memories are of the orphanage in which he lives to this very day. His mother had died giving birth to him, and his father was sentenced to life in prison before Haruno was five years old for manslaughter. He lived day in and day out with the children of other criminals who had been lumped together because no one else wanted them. He had a roof over his head and three meals a day, but all his clothes were hand-me-downs, he never had the games other kids had or money to buy things like they did, and worse of all, no one cared. He was just some random kid living in the rougher part of town. It didn't take long for the young boy to realize he wanted more from life.
At first, he thought the best solution would be to simply take what he wanted, like the villains he heard about on TV. When another child had a game he wanted, he took it, if he saw sweets he couldn't afford in a shop, he stole them. Haruno took anything and everything of value he could get his hands on. But that wasn't enough. Something was still missing, he was still "just some dumbass kid", he needed recognition. Haruno needed to be known.
So he began to start fights in order to establish himself as high as he could on the food chain, while at first he lost, badly, he slowly began to do better and better. Then he began to win, and his contemporaries began to fear him. Not only did he get the recognition he was searching for, but he didn't even need to take what he wanted anymore. Others did it for him, and gave him everything they could. But as time passed and the initial rush began to fade, it all felt so dirty. Haruno, despite getting all that he wanted was not content in the slightest, he didn't like being feared.
As it does for many who wish to become heroes, it was All Might that changed everything. Before he was nine, the boy with the mutant quirk had never actually paid much attention to the heroes in all the news stories. All the other kids in the orphanage had cared for were the villains. They had been the children of men and women just like them, they had aspired to make follow in their parents' footsteps. It had been a flight of whimsy, not turning off the TV after the villain had been beaten for once, listening not only to what the number one hero had to say, but seeing how people treated him. Listening once lead to listening twice. Twice became four times, and eventually, Haruno found himself watching and rewatching every last video he could find, and as he watched so did the others in the orphanage.
All Might was like a god amongst men. While the other kids were drawn in by the man's smile, his kindness, and his raw charisma, Haruno saw how people worshipped him, how the children who once longed to become villains began to admire the number one. And then it clicked.
All Might had what Haruno wanted from the start, the adoration of the masses. He had whatever he could desire not out of others fearing what would happen, or because he took what he wanted, not even because he was stronger than everyone else. All Might was the man who saved all, and they loved him for it.
The brown haired boy swore to himself on his tenth birthday to become just like All Might. Haruno would become a hero of the masses, for money, and glory. For their respect and their love.

Character Strengths: Haruno excels in close range combat. The mutant quirk user has an above average vitality level, above average stamina and is fast, can deal out blows with his legs much stronger than the rest of his body and is able to take hits as well. His ability to fly also makes it easier for him to get in close with his enemies and attack from various angles.
Character Weaknesses: Haruno lacks any real form of long ranged combat capabilities and his mid-ranged combat is limited to throwing things he picks up and the spit he cannot direct in any direction but outwards. His attacks tend to be weaker when not reinforced by his legs in some way shape or form. In general, Haruno is not suited for fighting people within extreme temperatures.

Description: The quirk Locust not only gives Haruno a body that is a mix between a human and a locust/grasshopper, but the abilities of any species of locust/grasshopper. E.g. Haruno can both stridulate and crepitate.
Strengths:
• A thick chitin exoskeleton in addition to his human endoskeleton which makes it harder for Haruno to be injured.
• Locust greatly enhances Haruno's long big legs, allowing him to jump both high and long distances, move with great agility and kick with strength far greater than the rest of his body can produce.
• The antennae granted by his quirk enhance Haruno's sense of smell greatly.
• Haruno's compound eyes and ocelli greatly enhance his eyesight.
• Haruno is able to produce toxic foam from pores in his exoskeleton only after eating plants containing toxic secondary compounds. As such the quirk also makes Haruno immune to a range of toxins.
• Haruno has two sets of wings which can be used for flight.
• Locust allows Haruno to spit/regurgitate a mixture of undigested plant matter and digestive enzymes from his mouth.
Weaknesses:
• Autophobia (False) - The locust based instincts granted to Haruno by his quirk makes him highly uncomfortable whenever he, in his mind, is alone in some way shape or form. Be it physically alone, or emotionally.
• His exoskeleton is thinner and more segmented at his joints to allow him to move smoothly.
• Haruno's eyes function the similarly grasshopper/locust. His ocelli are used to detect light intensity (and are especially sensitive to it) and his compound/ eyes are used to detect movement, shape, and distance. Therefore damaging/blocking one or the other greatly inhibit his sight in some manner.
• Haruno's exoskeleton makes him heavy enough that he is unable to float in water which makes any attempt of swimming much harder than it should be.
• Haruno is not able to fly when his wings are wet.
• Locust makes Haruno very sensitive to the extreme temperatures. The cold greatly decreases his stamina and he is more likely to get hypothermic than the average human. His exoskeleton makes it harder for him to cool down in warm temperatures and it is entirely possible for him to be 'cooked' alive beneath it.
• Haruno cannot currently aim his regurgitated spit very well, so when it is used, it comes out in every direction from his mouth.

Appearance: Hikaru is slightly above average height at 5'3, but despite her average build, her unique physiology has her clock in at an easy 161 lbs. Obviously, the first thing people notice about her is her draconic form; her forearms and shins, up to just above the elbows/knees respectively, are coated in a layer of thick, overlapping, bony scale plates that are dark crimson in color, darking at each finger/toe tip where a dark grey claw 1-2 inches long curves out.
Her muscular tail, a little longer than her leg, is also coated in them, and possesses a ridge of slightly smaller bony protrusions in line with her spine all the way to the pointed tip. Her back is adorned by two large draconic wings, bat-like but with scales, each about twice the size of her torso when folded out, and with a dewclaw at the upper joint.
As a result of the double set of pectoral muscles in her chest - one for her arms and another for her wings - her chest appears slightly larger than it normally would for a girl her age. The rest of her body is normal with fair skin, but wherever the bone is close to the skin (hips, cheeks, clavicles, etc.) smaller smatterings of scales peek out like freckles.
Her eyes are a brilliant amber, and though they reflect a lot of light, they do not glow; she has a tapetum, a reflective tissue behind the retina that increases night vision at the cost of sharpness. It isn't as good as something like a cat's but she can definitely perceive in low light better than the average human.
The pupils are just slightly pointed at the top and bottom, but without close inspection you probably couldn't tell them apart unless they were closing quite a bit. Her hair is short, down to her jawline, and loose all around; her bangs are tucked to the sides, save one which drapes down the side of her nose. It's a deep, cherry brown, nearly red. Her teeth are sharp, but not excessively so; they simply come to a wide point at the very tips, and part to reveal a longer than usual, forked tongue. Given her claws, clothes can be difficult to wear, especially anything particularly flimsy or tearable/shreddable down the legs and the sleeves.
It's also difficult to have things close around her wings on her back or her tail. You'd think custom made outfits for differently shaped people would be common, but they aren't cheap either, and she only has a couple of outfits tailored to buckle over her tail and with slits for her wings.
The rest simply have holes torn in them where necessary. Usually, these include skirts her tail can simple drape under, or shorts that don't tear on her leg scales. Similarly short sleeve tees are her go-to. She doesn't actually wear shoes, given the durability of the scales on her feet.
Hero outfit: When designing his outfit, Haruno chose to remain rather simple and basic. Personality: Given her beastly appearance, it's almost appropriate that Hikaru has a tendency to be loud, wild, and emotive. She feels excited 90% of the time, with a tendency to yell and flash her teeth. This is all driven by Hikaru's unwavering desire to become a hero, stemming from her experience with looking the way she does. No adversity of any shape or form can turn her fiery tide!
Prone to bursts of energy, Hikaru can seemingly at random recover from damn near anything for a few seconds, like a second wind. And then a third. Maybe a fourth. She's wildly active for moments at a time, like someone with a manic disorder, switching from casual enthusiasm to an excited animal at the drop of a hat.
History: Hikaru experienced a difficult young childhood as she began to look more and more...well, almost demonic. She certainly wasn't the most unusual human anyone had ever laid eyes on, but it wasn't easy convincing the other kids that the good guys could look this way too. Every time at recess or playing with her friends, she was the villain; she was scary, fiery, scaly, and they openly ignored or refuted her cries to be the deliverer of justice. She never got to be the rescuer, or the saviour, she always had to be the scary monster just because she kind of looked like one.
She was a fan of many heroes, but like many other children, she looked up to All Might, Symbol of Peace, in particular. His message of relentless justice resonated with her in every way it could, constantly pushing her to never give up on her dreams of heroism. This went on all throughout middle school where, despite praising her awesome-looking abilities, they jeered at her to find a Villain school instead, never even trying to hear her desires to apply to UA.
Then, the day came where, broadcast on any self-respecting channel across the nation, All Might's fateful final battle with All for One. All Might's last statement to the camera was the straw that broke the camel's back, the last push to truly inspire her to chase after her dreams, however she looked or felt. She applied to UA immediately following the event, and spent the next several days training with anything heavy she could quite find.
The written test was the hardest part for her. She isn't the brightest, despite having grand ideals of what a hero should be resulting from her criticisms of how her friends played as them. In fact, the paper she turned in was half torn apart from her claws as she attempted to take it. Fortunately, rather than toss it out and fail her, they decided to simply grade her based on what questions were still legible; miraculously, they managed to scavenge enough points for her to move on.
Then came the practical, which she flew through with bright, fiery colors. Darting down streets and alleys in the air, spewing white hot napalm on robots or tearing them to shreds before half of them could even register a response. A couple of times, she even managed to make openings for students who had gotten themselves surrounded in close quarters, earning some rescue points, even if they yelled at her for "stealing their kills." It was no question that, even completely unskilled, she made a fantastic fighter, and would likely make an even better hero with proper training, and she was moved on to one of the limited spots in the Hero Course.
She was finally on her way. She was going to be a hero, the best dragon hero that ever lived, and there was nothing her old classmates could do to talk her down this time! This path led straight to the top!
