This is what I make for breakfast when I’m not particularly hungry in the morning but know I need to prepare my belly for a stretch of activity before lunchtime. It’s substantial enough to make me feel satiated, but it lightens my senses rather than weighing them. In other words, you’ll feel grounded but also rejuvenated.
Wash and slice the tops off of half a pint of strawberries.
Assemble these ingredients:
1 cup of yogurt, preferably organic and whole
1 cup of milk, preferably the same as above
3 tablespoons of rose syrup
Put everything into your blender and whirl until smooth. You can add less rose syrup if you like it less sweet. Pour into 2 large glasses (or 4 small ones for little fairies) and garnish with a sprinkle of ground cardamom, if you wish.
