What is your advice to underclassmen?
"As I can now look back at my Freshman and Sophomore year, I can remember how timid and frightened of branching off I was. I would encourage underclassmen not to be afraid to go against the social pressures that are so common during adolescence. My junior and senior year were a lot more challenging academically and socially yet I found that was where I thrived most, as I discovered individuality and learned that independence is not necessarily a weakness. My younger self would definitely be proud of my plans ahead and where I am today, as I encourage you to question yourself and take a risk." -Lina Dillon
What is your path for after high school, and why did you choose it?
"Next year I will be attending the University of Connecticut where I will be playing Lacrosse. I loved UConn because it offered me the perfect balance of athletics and education. When I first stepped on campus, I felt the overwhelming respect they have for their athletes and I knew it was the perfect place for me. I am fortunate to be able to continue playing the sport I love while pursuing my degree. I can't wait to start my next chapter in the fall!" -Eve McGrogan
