Cassandra, Danny, and Jerry are assigned detectives on the case and they soon learn that this kissing rabbit hole runs deeper than they even realize…well, Cassie and Jerry do, Danny sleeps on the job as usual.

In the flashback, Vera, pretending to be a runaway, is picked up by a creep and taken to a secluded cabin, where she feeds on him. She then discovers a young Ernest, about to be sacrificed by a cult, and saves him. Together, they rescue the town’s kidnapped children from the cult, which had failed a ritual to empower a demon king.
