What is it?
The Susquehanna broad spear point is a long, thin, and broad blade with a narrow, eared, base. Typically, the length of this style averages at around 3.5 inches with some points being recorded at 9 inches.

The Susquehanna broad spear was used for a span of roughly one thousand years from 3,700 BC to 2,700 BC.
Geographically speaking, this style of point is concentrated in the Susquehanna Valley but has a wider range that includes Ontario, northern Virginia, and southern New Hampshire.
The type of minerals commonly used to make these points are rhyolite and quartzite.
