The Friends of the New Providence Memorial Library are proud to present the winners and chosen works to display in the 2021 High School Juried Art Show
Limited to New Providence High School age residents (NPHS, private, magnet or home school), each student is limited to two submissions per category, and all works must be created in school and submitted with the online application form, for each work of art. The objective is to celebrate the accomplishments in the visual arts in our high school students. despite their difficult school year of 2020-2021.
The judging was based upon how each work of art had satisfied all three criteria:
Creativity (Leap of the imagination, with the artist's personal vision or expression)
Design (applying the Principles of Design: Balance, proportion, movement, contrast, harmony, emphasis, ...)
Technical craftsmanship (exhibiting mastery of the medium)
There are links at the bottom of this page to take you to the pages exhibiting all of the works accepted from each of the categories.
