Within the Welcome Center (town of New Lordore) you can find a chap offering you to sign up for an occupation.
Occupations are instant and you do not need to do anything else other than find the hut relevant to you.
Each town across the kingdoms will have relevant traders, but not all towns will have all traders. You will find a workshop with a locked hut that has a raven bird cage within it. People are able to send you a Raven for a request e.g. 500 hardened brick to the blacksmiths. You can also send letters from these alerting players to what you have for sale. You may wish to open your own market to sell these wares easily from.
The merchants all trade in gold- this can be obtained via the bank (also in New Lordore).
You will find who is in what occupation at the noticeboard in Lordore and also on the Discords Roleplay Tracker.
Every 7 days, you can collect your wages from the payroll in the bank. You can also sell to your trader in your respective hut to earn more gold.

Farmer/Fisherman
As a Farmer, you can have animal pens that produce meat and animal byproducts, along with a beehive. You may also use any crop pots and the arbor. Your role as a fisherman (Fishmonger) means that you may have fish traps and catch fish. This is the only occupation allowed hives & traps.

Other
Other occupations may be available to fit your role play, using a ticket to request this. For example, a Bard or Florist.
PLEASE try and trade within your role. If you are a carpenter, you shouldn't ideally be trading withing alchemy. This also stands for your retrospective workbenches. We understand though that you might want to farm outside of your role if players for those resources are not often available and this is fine.
Admin will also try to fill any gaps, where an occupation is not trading. You may also request goods from 'The Veiled One' in the bank using the raven cage there or tagging them in marketplace on discord. You should actively request goods from people within those occupations first and allow 24 hours for a reply before doing so.
