When it comes to decimals, Standard French uses commas to separate decimals, and periods to separate three digits.
As most games tend to deal with huge numbers and decimals, making this conversion is critical.
Examples:
2.5 in English = 2,5 in French (two point five).
250,000 in English = 250.000 in French (two hundred fifty thousands).
When the number and/or gender of a noun are unknown, you may use parenthesis.
Example: "{variable} veut être votre ami(e)."
Example: "{variable} veut être votre ami(e)."
Whenever possible, use workarounds.
Better example: "{variable} veut se lier d'amitié avec vous."
