Accents without a French keyboard

You may find yourself without a proper AZERTY keyboard, or without the ability to use the Standard French layout (or input method) for any number of reasons. To be able to easily type accents and other special characters, you may use : CTRL + ACCENT KEY + LETTER

"Accent key" referring here to the corresponding key on the keyboard (see below):

Note : this ONLY works with the English layout. It does NOT work with the French layout, or the English setting of the Chinese layout.

Keyboard shortcuts

En dash: Alt + 0150

Em dash: Alt + 0151

Line break (Word Excel): Alt + Enter

Find: Ctrl + F

Add term: Ctrl + T or Alt + T

Confirm segment: Ctrl + Enter

Unconfirm segment: Ctrl + Shift + Enter

Insert line break: Shift + Enter

Em dash: Ctrl + Alt + Minus (on numerical keypad)

En dash: Alt + Minus (on numerical keypad)

Undo: Ctrl + Z

Find: Ctrl + H

Replace: Ctrl + HH (hold ctrl, press H twice)
