Nakkertok sponsorship: Meet the latest sponsor!
The Nakkertok board would like to introduce the newest sponsor to the club, Rob Marland Realty. Although the “new” part might be a bit of a leap as Rob and Jane Forsyth have been part of the club since their kids joined Jackrabbits over 25 years ago. In fact, that history with Nakkertok is why they wanted to connect their top-producing Ottawa Real Estate Team with the Nakkertok membership.
It was Nakkertok where their daughters learned to ski, competed for that treasured edible medal in the Cookie Race, and moved into racing. “The joy on everyone's face in those days was life changing,” says Rob. “Nakkertok grew as did our family. My youngest daughter especially thrived in the supportive and positive racing environment. Mentors and leaders and the amazing coaching and leadership imprinted a healthy sporting experience on everyone.”
The Marland Team sponsorship will be directed to the competitive program (which again runs in the family as Rob himself is a former Olympic gold medalist rower). And when Jane and Rob are not out showcasing their clients’ home for market or helping them find the property of their dreams (the Marland Team continuously ranks in the top 1% of Royal LePage agents nationwide), you can still find them on the Nakkertok trails.

Le conseil d’administration de Nakkertok désire vous présenter le nouveau commanditaire du club de course, Rob Marland Realty. Le titre « nouveau » sonne un peu étrange, car Rob et Jane Forsyth sont membres du club depuis que leurs enfants ont joint le programme Jackrabbits il y aplus de 25 ans. En fait, leur histoire avec Nakkertok est la raison pour laquelle ils ont décidé de jumeler leur agence immobilière très performante au club Nakkertok.
C’est dans les sentiers de Nakkertok que leurs filles ont appris à skier et par la suite compétitionner jusqu’à la succulente course « Cookie Race ». Par la suite, elles ont joint le programme de course. « La joie sur le visage de chacun faisait le bonheur de la journée », ajoute Rob. « Le club Nakkertok a grandi tout comme leur famille. Ma plus jeune fille s’est particulièrement épanouie dans le milieu positif de la course. Les mentors et leaders, ainsi que les entraîneurs ont fait vivre une expérience sportive saine à tous. »
La commandite de l’équipe Marland sera directement envoyée au programme compétitif (la famille a la compétition dans le sang, Rob lui-même est un médaillé d’or olympique en aviron). Quand Jane et Rob ne sont pas en train de promouvoir les maisons de leurs clients ou ne sont pas en visite avec des clients pour trouver la maison de leurs rêves (L’équipe Marland se classe dans le haut du palmarès canadien chez Royal Lepage), vous pouvez toujours les rencontrer dans les sentiers de Nakkertok.
