Coaching

Katherine Denis is the head coach of ENRG and oversees the larger Nakkertok high performance program. Originally from Timiskaming, Katherine has raced with Nakkertok for 6 years. She has significant experience racing at the NORAM level and represented Canada at the 2019 Winter World University Games in Krasnoyark, Russia as part of uOttawa Nordiq. Katherine has a BSc. in Human Kinetics from the University of Ottawa and is in the process of completing her L2C coaching certification.

When asked for advice regarding how to achieve skiing success, Katherine provided the following quote:

“You have to do all the work and you have to be brave enough to put yourself out there… and sometimes a lightning bolt is going to strike from the heavens and it’s going to work out and sometimes it’s just going to be one of those days that it doesn’t work, but if you’re not willing to put yourself out there and put yourself in a position to be great, you’re never going to be great. – Molly Seidel “

Integrated Support Team (IST)

ENRG is lucky to have access to a knowledgeable integrated support team.

Dr Marie-Josée Klett is our sports medicine doctor. She has been taking care of the Quebec ski team athletes in the area for a number of years and now works with ENRG.
