As the son of the honorable, brave, complex, amazing, incredible, strong, and, above all, great hero Odysseus, it seems destined that Telemachus will achieve great things when his father teaches him to become a man (for that is, after all, what fathers ought to teach their sons). There's just one problem: his dad isn't here right now. An alternate retelling of Homer's The Odyssey, "The Odd-yssey" follows the young, youthful 22-year-old Telemachus and his valiant struggle to achieve greatness in his father's horrid, divorce-related absence. When the deathless gods appear to young Telemachus and promise that his father will return, to what lengths will Telemachus go to ensure their prophecy comes true?

Since this production was a staged reading with only lighting design, my primary responsibilies as Stage Manager was to manage the rehearsal room by calling breaks and writing up paperwork such as rehearsal reports and daily call sheets to keep actors and our production team informed. In addition, since we did not have a props designer, I was responsible for sourcing and tracking the few props used in the production.
