RResponsibilities:

As The Passage is a very experimental piece, with our production of it including song, shadow puppetry, shadow dances, and aerial silks in the thrust, my work as an Assistant Director mainly dealt with logisitics and figuring out coordination across the ensemble piece. My job included taking attendance at each rehearsal, assisting in assigning lines to actors while working with large chunks of ensemble text, coordinating who would be singing and doing aerial silks at each performance since the participants rotated, leading rehearsals with the women's ensemble, and communicating technical needs with the rest of the production team.
