Out of the Blue is dedicated to experimenting with pushing the bounds of what theatre is and can be. As Executive Director, I am responsible for overseeing Artistic, Production, and Development departments and leading the board as we produce a theatrical season each quarter at UCLA. While I was Artistic Director, I was in charge of creating our theatrical season for the year and upholding the OOTB mission statement within our season.
As COO, I am responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations, managing resources, and ensuring productions run smoothly by coordinating across departments. The Shakespeare Company produces a theatrical season featuring classics and work in conversation with them at UCLA. I am responsible for all administrative tasks, including but not limited to scheduling, taking meeting notes, managing our Google Workspace, as well as handling risk management, safety protocols, and compliance with university policies.
Served as the Managing Director, Sales, Ads, Liaisons, & Development (SALAD) Team, and Events Coordination Team over 3 years. As Managing Director, I was responsible for running the business ends of the staff, managing deadlines and company paperwork, and serving as a leader for the company. Our theatre company staff was comprised of 31 students, responsible for running a theatre company as well as producing a theatrical season with up to 4 productions each academic year.
