Mia Perez (she/they) found her calling as a leader in the arts at a young age, and since then, their life has been devoted to storytelling. Through her involvement in 13 productions in 4 years of high school, Mia has become well-versed in leadership and theatre-making both on and off stage. Her involvement with the Aliso Niguel Theatre Company staff over the course of 3 years allowed her to become the Managing Director of the company in their senior year. Their self-motivated nature and willingness to take initiative both in her art and academics have set up Mia for her future in her theatre studies beyond high school at the University of California- Los Angeles. Mia is currently a Theater-Integrated Studies emphasis and intends to pursue a Film minor at UCLA's School of Theater, Film & Television. During their time at UCLA, Mia intends to explore her passion for directing primarily, as well as their other areas of focus in stage management, scenic design, and acting. No matter where the road takes Mia Perez after college, she aspires to innovate the theatre world and continue sharing stories.
