The ground floor of the MUB is characterized primarily by the tiered dining area that takes up most of the floor. There is a kitchen space that is used for catering events across campus, as well as a few office spaces to accommodate miscellaneous faculty.

Opening up the main dining area as well as proving different areas that can be used for studying, eating, relaxing, and playing games.

The tiered floors within the dining area take up large amounts of space and makes the area feel small. Therefore, we removed some of the tiers and reconfigured the space. We created the illusion of individual spaces within the open area so students can either study, eat, or socialize without interruption.
