Current state model.
During our project, one of the initial phases of the project was to design the MUB in its currant state. On this page you will find some renderings of the busing that we have incorporated into our full project and plan.
Planned Renovations
Here, in the basement, we:
Removed a restricting wall, opening space to the right of the current makerspace
Removed a wall to the east of the makerspace, again, making the space more open
Propose moving the makerspace to another facility on campus
Propose current makerspace and adjacent space as the "MUB Lower Commons"

Here, on the Ground Floor, we propose:
Removing the tiered floors and pouring a continuous single-level floor
Three conference rooms for student clubs and organizations
New and additional seating in the existing food court
A new, right-angled, counter top for the MUB food court
opening the space toward the east stairs
Additional storage space, provided by the three conference rooms

Additional office space in the Undergraduate Student Government space
A more open floor plan for the Undergraduate Student Government space

Elimination of two hotel rooms
expansion of three hotel rooms
