Students can apply for this scholarship after their GCE A-level results have been released directly through HECAS ( Brunei’s Higher Education Centralised Admission System )

Prerequisite requirement :

• • Bruneian nationality

  • AAA grades at GCE A level

  • A grade for both Bahasa Melayu and English at GCE O level.

  • Applied and received offers from top 5 universities in the UK or other countries.

Additional requirement :

• Clean and excellent school record.

• Active in school and outside school activities. Shows excellent transferable skills and values.

• Practices and shows a good understanding of Malay Islamic Monarchy

NOTE :

Normally Yayasan Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah will automatically ask the college’s Academic Section to forward names of eligible students after A level results have been released. After that, interested applicants can continue in the application process.

In the past, successful scholarships have been awarded to degrees in : science and Engineering, technology, medicine and veterinary, economics and finance, social science and arts, Islamic studies.

1. Inform Career Centre early. You will need to start Russian mathematics tutoring which is one of the biggest hurdle in this application.

2. Have a genuine interest in Japanese language, country and culture. Start learning Japanese language.

This 43rd QS World Ranking University had approached our college for school nominations in the last five years.

Requirement :

1. To be eligible, you need to have excellent academic achievements ranked 10% in your cohort.

2. Demonstrate academic excellence, leadership skills and potential to make a contribution to international community.

Procedure :

Upon invitation from CUHK, Career Centre will invite interested and eligible candidates to apply for this scholarship in October PU 2 year.
