What is MMI?
It consists of 6 - 8 stations of short interview sessions- usually used as one of the assessments for MOE Scholarship, MOE Loan Scheme and Universiti Brunei Darussalam’s (Institute of Health Science - Medicine, Dentistry, Pharmacy and Biomedical sciences courses). Each station will take about 10 minutes with different interviewers.
Why MMI?
MMIs are popular because they help interviewers to assess many different soft skills, and get a better picture of you as a candidate. Plus, you’ll get multiple opportunities to impress during the different stations.
When will MMI take place?
You will be invited to attend an MMI after the submission of your application and IF MOE or UBD ( Institute of Health Science ) is considering your application.
Our Role
Traditionally, a mock MMI is an annual activity for MS PU 2 students after/ before their Qualifying Exams with the assistance of PU3 seniors. Even though in 2021 we are unable to do this, Career Centre is providing you the sample questions to help you prepare for it in 2022. Use this resource wisely.
This is a collection of categorized questions according to stations that your seniors have faced in the past to help you prepare for your MMI. Your questions may not be precisely as those below but it will be in this scope of area. You will be asked 1-2 questions per station. Additionally, for the UBD medical courses, you will need to be familiar with the healthcare system in Brunei, current local medical issues, ethical issues etc. You may want to ask your seniors who have successfully been accepted to for these courses to give you a more current idea how to prepare.
