Higher education (HE) institutions in Brunei are broadly categorised into government and private institutions. For yellow IC holders like students of Maktab Sains, this means that, if you meet the criteria, you may study at the government institutions on scholarship. The local government HE institutions have been climbing in ranking in recent years and are very popular.
