On this site you will find a lot of different resources to help support your learning in Science throughout year 7-11.

The Key Stage 3 materials are written following AQA's Big Ideas. There are 10 of these ideas. Students will learn about: waves, forces, organisms, matter, electromagnets, genes, reactions, energy, earth and ecosystems.

Key Stage 4 (GCSE) materials are written for both the AQA Trilogy (combined science) and Triple Science specifications. These resources are split into the Biology, Chemistry and Physics components. All materials for Triple Science students are clearly identified.

General revision resources

There are lots of useful websites out there for you to use. You might choose to do some extra work for your favourite subject or use them to help you to understand the work that you have been set.

Socrative.com allows teachers to create simple quizzes that students can take quickly.
Quizlet.com/live can be used to create keyword flashcards online and give out to students.
Another great app for creating timed quizzes is Kahoot.com for added competition for keywords or ideas.
Memrise.com is a useful app for all languages and uses videos to help learners.
Tableau Public is a great platform to connect to a spreadsheet and create interactive visuals.
Looking for visual thinking? Try bubbl.us, to help students better understand, remember and generate new ideas.
Revisionbuddies.com can provide short bursts of revision for many GCSE topics and tracks progress too. It even allows the pupils to access past papers and mark schemes.
Goconqr.com allows pupils or teachers to create mind maps and flashcards using key terms.
Wordflex.com app uses a dictionary with a focus on key terms and a content-rich curriculum.
