Hall of Fame 2014-19 (Years 11 - 15)

Gurkaran (2013-15) (wing) – One of the best leaders, and perhaps the best defender over the last 5 years.  Virtually impossible to score when he was guarding you.  Played with a passion and encouraged others to do so.  Was the head of a dominant press on his club teams.  Helped his team to win 6 club basketball tournaments.  Finished his career 8th in players’ of the game (11), 17th in steals (97), 28th in assists (38), and 29th in wins (26).

Kushleen (2017-19) (guard) – The best female shooter in Thunder Basketball history.  Loved to score and had great handles. Played one full year of Thunder Basketball in grade 4, then filled in with the boys team for tournaments in grade 5.  Helped her team win 3 club basketball tournaments.  Finished her career with 6 records.  Currently holds the game record for the most points (16) by a grade 4 girl, and the season records for the most points (147), assists (27), steals (47), offensive players' of the game (3) and defensive players' of the game (1) by a grade 4 girl.  Finished her career 32nd in points (164), 33rd in players's of the game (6), and 40th in assists (34).

Joseph (2016-19) (guard) –  An all around good player and leader.  Could be counted on every game to bring his best. Played Thunder Basketball in grade 3, and then again in grade 5 due to Mr. Epp coaching the girls team when he was in grade 4.  Finished his career 33rd in players' of the game (6), 37th in steals (67), 43rd in rebounds (83), and 48th in assists (25), 

Prit (2014-16) (guard) –  “The Iceman” Cool, calm, and collected.  Money with the game on the line.  Unbelievable instincts, was a dominator as the interceptor on his club teams.  Could be relied on to always get the job done.  A great all around player.  Pretty much only played one year of Thunder Basketball, as he missed most of the grade 4 season.  Helped his team win 10 club basketball tournaments.  Finished his career 2nd in triple doubles (1), 8th in players’ of the game (13), 13th in assists (77), 14th in points (220), 25th in steals (77), 28th in rebounds (110), and 46th in wins (22). 

Ezra (2012-16) (wing) – One of the best defenders in the last five years.  Played every game with a passion, and was always determined to do his best.  Checked the other team’s best player.  One of the first players in history to play 4 years.  Helped his team to win 7 club basketball tournaments.  Finished his career 10th in wins (44), 27th in assists (44), 28th in rebounds (110) and players’ of the game (6), and 30th in points (156) and steals (70).

Amy (2017-18) (guard) – The leader of the best girls team in Thunder Basketball history.  Wanted to win more than everyone else.  Was indispensable on the floor.  Helped her team to win 3 club basketball tournaments.  Only played one season of Thunder Basketball.  Finished her career with 3 records.  Currently holds the season records for the most points (190), steals (102) and players’ of the game (12) by a grade 5 girl.  Finished her career 10th in players’ of the game (12), 15th in steals (102), 20th in points (190), 24th in assists (47), 48th in rebounds (77), and 50th in wins (22). 

Jasleen (2017-18) (post) – An all around good post player.  Good shooter, rebounder, and good at help defence.  Helped her team to win 2 club basketball tournaments.  Only played one season of Thunder Basketball.  Finished her career 38th in points (140), 46th in rebounds (79), and 46th in wins (23). 

Yuvreet (2012-15) (post) – One of the best all around posts in the last 5 years.  A good defender and scorer.  Was the defensive anchor of his club teams.  Helped his team to win 6 club basketball tournaments.  Finished his career with 2 records.  Currently holds the game record for the most rebounds (12) by a grade 3 boy.  Finished his career 2nd in double doubles (3), 20th in rebounds (125), 22nd in points (168), and 23rd in wins (30).

Ravi (2013-15) (guard) – One of the best pure scorers in the last 5 years, has perhaps the best crossovers in Thunder Basketball history.  Had one of the best grade 5 years ever.  The only player to ever average more than 10 points a game.  Helped his team to win 5 club basketball tournaments.  Finished his career with 1 record.  Finished his career 6th in players’ of the game (12), 11th in points (239), 15th in rebounds (129) and steals (98), 16th in assists (62), and 29th in wins (26).

Puja (2017-18) (wing) – By the end of the season was her team’s leading scorer.  Tough defender, great court awareness, and guard skills in a wing’s body.  Was on the court when the game was on the line.  Helped her team to win 3 club basketball tournaments.  Only played one season of Thunder Basketball.  Finished her career 36th in rebounds (97), 43rd in assists (28), and 50th in steals (53) and wins (22)

Gavin (2012-16) (guard) – One of the fastest guards in Thunder Basketball history.  Excelled in all parts of the game.  A great attacker and finisher.  Extremely confident in his skills.  One of the first players to play 4 years of Thunder Basketball.  Helped his team to win 9 club basketball tournaments.  Finished his career with 2 records.  Currently holds the season records for the most steals (90) by a grade 5 boy and the most defensive players’ of the game (4) by a grade 4 boy.  Finished his career 2nd in steals (160), 3rd in points (336) and double doubles (3), 5th in players’ of the game (16), 8th in wins (45), 9th in assists (95), and 13th in rebounds (133).

Gurjot (2013-17) (guard/post/wing) – One of the most versatile players in Thunder Basketball history.  Played various positions over his career, depending on what his team needed.  Played 4 years of Thunder Basketball, and 2 years of club basketball, helping his team to win 6 tournaments.  Finished his career 10th in double doubles (2), 20th in assists (54), 29th in points (160) and players’ of the game (6), 32nd in steals (68), and 36th in rebounds (97) and wins (25).

Aaryn (2018-19) (guard) – An all around great player.  A very good scorer, and very intense.  The best leader on his team.  Played only 1 year of Thunder Basketball due to Mr. Epp coaching the girls team when he was in grade 4.  Finished his career 29th in points (167), and 30th in players' of the game (7).

Jatin (2014-17) (guard) – One of the fastest on-the-ball and help defenders in Thunder Basketball history.  The first player  to make the Hall of Fame without going to John Maclure in grade 5.  Played 2 years of club basketball, leading the press when he was in grade 5, helping his team to win 7 tournaments.  Finished his career 31st in wins (26) and 38th in assists (31).

Harsh (2016-19) (guard) – A good shooter and leader.  Was consistently strong.  Had some foot injuries at the start of grade 5, but improved as the season went on.  Played Thunder Basketball in grade 3, and then again in grade 5 due to Mr. Epp coaching the girls team when he was in grade 4.  Finished his career 45th in assists (23).

Hanson (2011-15) (guard) – One of the best all around point guards in Thunder Basketball history.  A pure winner.  Was great at all parts of the game.  The 4th player in Thunder Basketball history to play 4 years.  Helped his team to win 3 club basketball tournaments.  Finished his career with 3 records.  Currently holds the game record for the most points (18) by a grade 3 boy. Finished as the career leader in wins (56), 2nd in steals (149), 4th in assists (114), 6th in points (284) and players’ of the game (12), and 16th in rebounds (127).

Owen (2012-17) (guard) – One of the smartest and best all around players in Thunder Basketball history.  A strong and accurate club basketball inbounder, and an excellent shooter.  The first player in Thunder Basketball history to play 5 years, and the first player to win over 60 games. Started doing the spring grade 3/4 basketball when he was 4 years old in preschool.  Helped his team to win 7 club basketball tournaments.  Finished his career 1st in wins (61) and triple doubles (2), 2nd in rebounds (212) and steals (164), 3rd in double doubles (3), 4th in assists (118), and 8th in points (286) and players’ of the game (13).  Currently is 1st in wins and triple doubles.

Corina (2017-18) (wing) – Intense, a great leader, tough defender, confident with the basketball, and good passer.  Helped her team with 2 club basketball tournaments.  Only played one year of Thunder Basketball.  Finished her career 20th in steals (93), 44th in players’ of the game (5), and 46th in wins (23). 

Jashan (2008-10) (post/coach) – The original “Bob”.  The 2nd high schooler to be inducted into the Thunder Basketball Hall of Fame, and the 1st coach.  Was a regular attender to all the summer sessions, one-on-one tournaments, and Friday Fundays throughout middle and high school.  Reffed, supervised, and coached on numerous occasions.  An excellent role model, contributed greatly to the elementary students, and is a huge part of the Thunder Basketball family.

Jot (2012-16) (wing/post) – “Big Smooth”  The best post scorer, and one of the best shooters in Thunder Basketball history.  Because of his moves, became the first post to be moved out to the wing for grade 5.  Almost unstoppable in the elementary game, had one of the best careers in history.  One of the first players to play 4 years of Thunder Basketball, and the first kindergartener to participate in spring basketball.  Helped his team to win 6 club basketball tournaments.  Finished his career with 4 records.  Currently holds the game record for the most points (32) by a grade 5 boy, and the season records for the most points (257) and rebounds (238) by a grade 5 boy, and rebounds (77) by a grade 4 boy.  Finished as the career leader in points (410), rebounds (362), and double doubles (9), 3rd in players’ of the game (17), 5th in wins (52), 20th in assists (53), and 24th in steals (80).  Currently is first in points, rebounds, and double doubles.

Lexie (2017-18) (wing) – Aggressive on defence and a great left hand.  Was the head of a dominant press on her club team.  Was always on the court when the game was on the line.  Helped her team to win 3 club basketball tournaments.  Only played one year of Thunder Basketball.  Finished her career 23rd in steals (86), 24th in players’ of the game (8), 39th in assists (33) and 40th in points (131).
