(Years 1 - 5)

Erin (2007-08) (guard) – The most aggressive stealer in the first five years.  Finished her career with 2 records.  Currently holds the game record for the most steals by a grade 5 girl and the season record for the most steals (91) by a grade 5 girl.  Finished her career 4th in steals (91), 6th in assists (50), and 7th in players’ of the game (7).

Karman (2006-08) (guard/post) – The toughest dribbler/scorer/rebounder in the first five years.  Bulled his way to the hoop.  Finished his career with 1 record.  Finished as the career leader in double-doubles (3), 3rd in rebounds (132), 4th in points (188), 10th in steals (70), 10th in wins (19) and 19th in players’ of the game.

Jenna Mary (2006-08) (wing) – The first high schooler to be inducted into the Hall of Fame.  A tough right wing who bulldozed her way to the hoop.  Continued to be a huge part of Thunder Basketball throughout middle and high school.  Finished her career 10th in points (136) and 11th in steals (65).

Jacob (2005-07) (wing) – The fastest wing in the first five years.  Finished his career with 2 records.  Finished his career 5th in steals (75), 6th in points (150), 7th in players’ of the game (6) and 12th in rebounds (73).

Jordan (2004-06) (guard) – The best all around player in the first five years.  Lightning quick with the ability to find his teammates for an easy basket.  Finished his career with 10 records.  Currently holds the season records for the most assists (107) by a grade 5 boy.  Finished as the career leader in points (198), assists (124), steals (91), players’ of the game (15), and wins (34) and 5th in rebounds (101).

Zac (2004-06) (post) – The best post defender in the first five years.  Great defensive technique and help defense awareness.  Finished his career with 3 records.  Finished 2nd on the career list in rebounds (135), players’ of the game (8), 4th in steals (71) and wins (29), 7th in points (112), and 8th in assists (21). 

Meldina (2004-06) (wing) – The best female player in the first five years.  Played every game in her career against boys’ teams.  Finished her career with 10 records.  Finished as the career leader in rebounds (145), 2nd in points (170) and wins (33), 3rd in players’ of the game (7), 4th in assists (39), and 7th in steals (61).

Corey (2004-07) (guard) – The best scorer in the first five years.  Great offensive moves, good passing.  Finished his career with 8 records.  Currently holds the season records for the most steals (68) by a grade 4 boy.  Finished as the career leader in points (218), steals (124) and wins (37), 2nd in assists (87) and players’ of the game (10), and 6th in rebounds.

Denelle (2006-08) (guard) – The most skilled female player in the first five years.  Excellent scoring, dribbling, and defensive awareness.  Recorded the only triple-double in Thunder Basketball history at the time.  Finished her career with 4 records.  Currently holds the game records for the most assists (11) by a grade 5 girl, the most points (16) by a grade 4 girl, and the season records for the most points (140) and assists (58) by a grade 5 girl.  Finished her career 3rd in steals (100), 3rd in players’ of the game (9), 5th in points (182), 5th in assists (63), and 8th in wins (26).

Maneet (2004-06) (wing) –  One of the best on-the-ball defenders in the first five years.  Checked the other teams’ point guard.  Finished his career with 3 records.  Finished his career 2nd in assists (42), 2nd in steals (81), 3rd in points (157), 4th in wins (49), 5th in players’ of the game (4), and 6th in rebounding (88).

Brandyn (2003-05) (wing) – One of the best rebounder/scorers in the first five years.  Played only one season in which stats were kept, or would have been higher on the career lists.  Finished his career with 3 records.  Currently holds the game record for the most rebounds (22) by a grade 5 boy.  Finished as the career leader in points (114), players’ of the game (6), and 2nd in rebounds (75).

Brianna (2003-05) (post) – One of the best rebounders in the first five years.  Possessed great hands and was unmovable on the low block.  Played only one season in which stats were kept, or would have been higher on the career lists.  Finished her career with 3 records.  Currently holds the season record for the most rebounds (126) by a grade 5 girl.  Finished as the career leader in rebounds (126), 2nd in points (104), and 3rd in players of the game (3).

Vinny (2007-09) (wing) – Arguably the best on-the-ball defender in the first five years.  Consistently shut down the other teams’ best player.  Finished his career 13th in wins (25), 18th in players of the game (5), 19th in assists (20), 20th in steals (56) and 23rd in rebounds (61).

Dhruv (2007-09) (wing/post) – Had one of the best two year careers in the first five years.  A solid grade 4 year followed by a solid grade 5 year.  Finished his career 3rd in wins (37), 8th in rebounds (121), 13th in points (128), and 13th in steals (72). 

Harley (2004-07) (guard) – The most aggressive player in the first five years.  Excellent court sense and vision.  Finished his career with 3 records.  Currently holds the game record for the most assists (15) by a grade 5 boy.  Finished as the career leader in wins (37), 2nd in steals (103), 3rd in assists (85), 4th in points (164), 4th in players’ of the game (8), and 5th in rebounds (120).

River (2004-06) (post) – The best female defensive player in the first five years.  Tough, aggressive, and great help defense.  Finished her career with 6 records.  Currently holds the game record for the most rebounds (18) by a grade 5 girl, and the season record for the most defensive players’ of the game (6) by a grade 5 girl.  Finished 3rd on the career list in rebounding (130), 4th in players’ of the game (6), 6th in wins (24), and 7th in steals (61).

Reuben (2003-05) (guard) – One of the best leaders in the first five years.  Great anticipation of what was happening on the court.  Played only one season in which stats were kept, or would have been higher on the career lists.  Finished his career with 3 records.  Finished 2nd on the career list in assists (25), 2nd in players’ of the game (4) and 3rd in rebounding (59).

Tianna (2006-09) (guard/wing) – One of the most consistent players in the first five years.  Dominated the female game like no other player.  The only girl to play basketball in grade 3, and the first player to play point guard in grade 3 on a regular basis.  Finished her career with 9 records.  Currently holds the game records for the most points (16), rebounds (12), assists (8) and steals (9) by a grade 4 girl, and the season records for the most points (102), rebounds (42), assists (27), steals (44) and offensive players of the game (2) by a grade 4 girl.  Finished as the career leader in points (322), 2nd in steals (117) and wins (38), 3rd in players’ of the game (11), 6th in rebounds (127) and 7th in assists (58).

Amneet (2006-09) (guard) – One of the best offensive players in first five years.  Finished his career with the best stats in Thunder Basketball history.  The first boy to play basketball in grade 3, and the first boy to play point guard in grade 4 on a regular basis.  The second person in Thunder Basketball history to record a triple double. Finished his career with 1 record.  Finished as the career leader in rebounds (150) and wins (40), 2nd in points (290), 2nd in assists (112), 3rd in steals (107), and 4th in players’ of the game (10).

Tim (2006-08) (guard) – One of the fastest ball handlers in the first five years.  The leader of the only undefeated grade 5 boys team ever.  Finished his career 8th in assists (87), 9th in players’ of the game (6) and 15th in points (110).
