This tutorial will explain to you how you can quickly create your own website using Google Sites
How to create your own Portfolio Website:
sign up for a google account (if you haven't already)
create a new website and give it a professional sounding name (e.g. NoahTauchesMusic or somthing)
choose your website layout
add an appealing home page called home - use some nice big picture(s) in the background (does not have to be of yourself, but it would be nice and more personal) and write a personal account of who you are/feel you are as a musician (how did it all start, where do you feel you are in your development as a musician, etc.)
add a me as a musician or my musical history or about me (whichever title you like best)
add a my instruments page (short 1 or 2 page history and description of the instrument - collect sources and name them at the end of the documents) - include pictures! (Format for sources: How to shorten a long link: https://goo.gl - February 1, 2016.) - use https://goo.gl to shorten links that are too long
add a my performances page (videos of your performances) - download the videos I have made available to you, load them up to your https://drive.google.com/drive/my-drive, share them publicly to anyone with the link and embed the videos in your page - don't forget to provide the date and place of each performance!
add a my compositions page (scores and audio or video recordings of your compositions)
add a my assignments page (page for all your written homework e.g. notes on videos you had to watch, analytical essays, etc.)
add a my reviews page (reviews of performances of other course members or your own performances, reviews of concerts you attended, albums you listened to, artists you like, etc.) - if there is audio/video material available, embed these files in your website next to or above your written review
add a my musical diary page (personal accounts of your development, challenges, defeats, and successes)
add a my useful links page (here, you collect all the websites that you find useful for research and/or practicing online and briefly explain why you find them useful)
Here is an example of a portfolio website for your inspiration:
You should also come up with ideas for other useful page additions to your website.
Good luck!
