Animortos are not a race per say, but rather a term used to describe a singular person or society that has displaced their own mortal bodies with machines and the bodies of others. In some settings, Animortos can fit as a race of technologically superior beings that may or may not have fallen from grace by overindulging in body modifications. While in other settings, an Animortos may simply be a humanoid that has forsaken their own mortality by indulging in extensive body manipulation. For example, in Eberron, an Animortos may be a Human Artificer that has torn themselves limb from limb to replace with superior โmagicalโ enhancements to prolong their life. You may also consider drawing inspiration from the Adeptus Mechanicus from Warhammer 40k, a similar race to this.
In this Setting, Morgath, Animortos is a term for singular humanoids.
Astral Children are made from stardust. Some even spontaneously form, fully grown or not. While others may generate in the wombs of mortals of any sentient race; though they usually do not share any real physical similarities with their birth mother. The question on how Astral Children form is one that goes incredibly unanswered, it is hypothesised that they are formed from the fleeing souls of Suns and Stars that have died; their births signaled by the supernova of a dying star. Whatever the case may be, they often show incredible talent even surpassing that of other mortals. Their enlightened minds alone are capable of warping the material plane. Some even have exhaustive memories of life floating among the stars.
Version 3.0. Gifted (though others would claim cursed) with consciousness via magic in the form of an intelligence equal to that of an average human, the awakened cat walks a narrow path between two worlds. They are forever removed from their animalistic life but are still driven by many of their old instincts and experiences. A cat would think nothing of consuming the meat of a fallen foe. They have little need or want for most possessions, though all tend to have a few special items they guard fiercely. They have a tendency toward solitude but will happily join in with a party for warmth, shelter, and easy meals. The promise of a warm lap and generous scratching behind the ears is good incentive as well.
Whether born or cursed to the form, beastfolk are a collection of humanoid races that each bear strong resemblance to an animal. Due to the dizzying variety of animals in the world, and beastfolk that take after them, as a whole beastfolk have few common bonds. They may form small communities, particularly if they all resemble the same animal, but often times they live on the edges of civilization and only interact with those with the insight to see beastfolk are at least as human as they are animal. Cursed or Born.
You know what a Centaur is. you can make one inspired by Ravnica, Greece, or beyond. This version is meant to replace GGR's version, since TDM didn't like it.
They pretty much just showed up one day, no one knows how or why, but they're pretty chill. Basically catfolk.
Gnolls are a savage and nomadic race, known and feared mostly for their vicious raids, and all-consuming hunger, eating the corpses of those they slay in battle. While these fears aren't completely unfounded, there are good aspects of gnollish culture that tend to take a backseat in the minds of how most societies see them. For example, gnolls value kin and clan above everything, a gnoll rarely leaves a wounded clanmate behind if a battle is lost, and they will almost always throw away personal glory for the sake of a loved one.
If a gnoll is ever separated from their clan, their social nature means they will usually search for allies and friends to call their family, a surrogate "clan" if you will.

Hailing from the myths of the oriental sudal, Kitsune are a nomadic people, they generally stay to their selves and are more than often then not cowards. They like to play tricks on each other and when they meet friendly races they'll play tricks on them, usually harmless, never spiteful. Their humanoid form is an extension of that cowardice and trickery to (attempt) blend in with others, specially those in the material plane. Their fox form is also an extension of that as they can hide in even smaller places or in plain sight with other animals as well as being able to trick others more easily. they take pride in their beauty, specially their tails (and it's considered rude to touch another's tail without consent.) and are often trying to get one up on another trick wise.
@DragonDaem0n#7108's own interpretation of a Medusa player race. Medusae in this world hail from myths and tales of crypts, and are universally feared and despised.
It is said that there is a race of few survivors, cursed by the gods for their ancestorโs vanity. For thinking themself above the gods, the twin deities Asin and Arye stepped down from the heavens to deliver judgement on a mortalโs line. Unable to bear what they had done, they sought the mercy of higher powers to spare their kin. Outraged by this, Asin and Arye turned from their slaughter and damned the remaining tribe to eternal suffering, watching the world pass away around them while they sat helpless. They number few but stubborn remnants of this bloodline carry on, seeking something to lift their curse and free their race.
Skaven in morgath are despised as evil scavengers, and hated due to a conception that they spread disease.
Very little explanation needed, your character was once dead, but isnโt anymore. Be careful, Undead will be eliminated on sight. Still fun to play, ask SmirkySkull in order to join the skeleton army.
Spriggans are a race of strange plant-like people with origins heavily involved in the Feywild. They are feared and often despised due to their unruly and occasionally malevolent trickster nature. The growth of Spriggans is often one that is unintentional, occurring either from Feywild influence leaking into the material plane or through procreation by other Spriggans and a subsequent seed being formed. Spriggans will then sprout from the ground appearing like normal saplings until they reach maturity, at which point they will uproot themselves to move about like any other forest critter. Their elusive nature is matched only by the Firbolgs they share their environment with, but a spriggan is far more liable to interfere with those that intrude upon their territory.
The Vaishnava is a race similar to the Kalashtar, but with less psionics and more cleric flavoring. They serve as timeless observers of the world that live to indulge themselves in each fleeting desire.
