Exploring New Ways to Support modcore

We are always looking for ways to keep modcore sustainable while continuing to build privacy-focused software that our users can rely on.

As part of this effort, we are currently researching affiliate programs and how they could be integrated into the modcore ecosystem in the future. The goal is simple: create a small additional source of income that helps support development, maintenance, and future improvements.

Nothing is changing right now.

No hidden tracking
No selling of user data
No compromise on privacy
No changes to how our software works

Privacy has always been at the core of modcore, and it will continue to be. Any future monetization options will be designed with transparency, user choice, and trust as the highest priorities.

We are taking time to carefully evaluate whether affiliate programs are the right fit and how they could provide value without affecting the experience you expect from modcore.

We appreciate everyone who supports modcore and follows our journey. We’ll share more updates as we explore this possibility.

Update: Exploring New Ways to Support modcore

Since our last update, we’ve continued researching affiliate programs and how they could potentially fit into the modcore ecosystem.

However, we’ve also started looking beyond affiliate programs and are now exploring other monetization ideas that may better align with our privacy-first principles. Avoiding unnecessary tracking and protecting modcore’s reputation as a privacy-focused platform remain important considerations in this process.

Because of this, it is increasingly unlikely that modcore will integrate traditional affiliate networks. If we do decide to work with affiliates in the future, we would prefer to work directly with carefully selected partners rather than broadly integrating affiliate networks.

Nothing is changing right now. We’re still researching and evaluating what makes the most sense for modcore and its users.
